lots of people are getting hacked by some free steam game site ending with .tk dont click on any free game links
Uh You'd have to be stupid to fall for them
Ok. thanks for the heads up
A fake site masquerading as Steam? Unthinkable! /sarcasm
Thanks bro but most of the people already know this.
Everyone knows this. undescriptive thread title. Shit op ban thread.
lots of people are getting hacked by some free steam game site ending with .tk dont click on any free game links
Link to site!
nobody's getting hacked by .tk sites
no way it said i could have black ops for free! so believable.
We're aware of phishing attempts. But as I tell all people, it's helpfull to report the websites to prevent others falling for it. http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/ https://submit.symantec.com/antifraud/phish.cgi
Anyone who falls for a .tk site deserves to have their account hacked.
whoa someone just offered me an account with all games on steam gonna take that offer brb
Thanks for the concern, but I would expect many people to already be on the lookout for this sort of thing
whoa someone just offered me an account with all games on steam gonna take that offer brb
Did It work?!?
edit: wtf he wanted me to sign into steam community for something and i did now my steam password doesnt work WTF man OP wasnt lying!
As if any-one would actually fall for this.
I only have a stalker on steam :( .
Hey man if Gabenewell@valve.tk wants me to give him my password for security reasons then I'm all for it!!
I honestly don't know why anyone would even fall for that. Anyone with common sense should know that a .TK site isn't an official one and more times than not (correct me if I'm wrong) is a scam or trap of some sort. You'd have to be an idiot to fall for that. Overall, this thread is unnecessary.
What?! Next you're going to tell me the Nigerian princes in need of money are scams too, idiot.
Hey man if Gabenewell@valve.tk wants me to give him my password for security reasons then I'm all for it!!
I mean, it's not like Steam knows our passwords already!
They've never tried to steal my passwords with phising... Not for steam, not for anything... Not that I'd fall for that crap, tho!
Listen To The OP Or Risk You're Accounts, This Is Not A Joke.
I mean, it's not like Steam knows our passwords already!
It's why they ask you for it when you sign in! they don't know it either and without it they can't access your account for the security updates! It's very good that Gabe is personally updating my account though :downs:
Anyone who falls for a .tk site deserves to have their account hacked.
Whenever theres a thread about phishing, someone always posts that.
Thanks for the warning man. Really helped me out alot. Never in my whole life thought that a .tk site would be an attack site. Gee thanks!
This is so old and obvious. Only little kids fall for that.
People fall for these?
This is totally not late or anything.
Thank you for saving my 80 games, rated you heart.
