• Blood: The most nutritious substance in nature

Why do i say this? I am not promoting vampirism, i am merely saying, don't bitch and whine about the guys at the steakhouse under cooking the steak to what you want, embrace it. Remember this, your bloody steak is always going to be healthier than your friend's grey, overcooked steak. Now then, onto the blood it's self, blood is the medium for carrying all of the nutrients and oxygen to the living tissue of all animals. Slaughterhouses try to save the blood from it's cattle or hogs to be dried and, in small amounts, be put into the feed. "Why," you ask. This is to highten the nutritional value of the feed to ensure that the animals to be slaughtered are healthy, and heavy with meat, not fat. Directly drinking blood is not safe at all and i do not recommend this. Most of you must understand, that blood is not something to be disgusted of, but to be embraced, as extra nutrition. I hope you enjoyed this little piece i wrote. TL;DR Fuck you, read it.
As long as all this blood sucking doesn't lead to sparkling vampires I'm fine with it.
Blood does taste good.
What about human blood.
Blood is blood. Big deal.
MORE BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD [img_thumb]lawl[/img_thumb]
I'm glad im not the only one who loves the taste of blood...
Salty, yet... satisfying.
Blood is blood. Big deal.
I thought your avatar was a red blood cell at first glance...
I like my steaks medium rare, so it's juicy with blood.
The red juice in a rare steak isn't blood I'm afraid.
I thought your avatar was a red blood cell at first glance...
Hmm... I should change my avatar.
Reh. I knew that the negativity would result. It's just me speaking my mind. Im a lurker here on FP, i try to get a little more active on here. but, what do i get? i get shit on by most people.
Salty, yet... satisfying.
Same can be said about a certain... other substance.
The red juice in a rare steak isn't blood I'm afraid.
Depends.
Blood has a lot of iron and glucose in it, but surprisingly devoid of any nutritional value beyond that. There are people who believe they're vampires and drink human blood, but this alone most certainly can't keep them alive. Animal blood is the same. Sorry.
The red juice in a rare steak isn't blood I'm afraid.
What are you afraid of?
Actually, it does have a large amount of protein, too. The red blood cells are mostly iron, yes. but that iron would be much needed, and the plasma has large amounts of protein, plus the vitamins and minerals consumed by the animal in question. I also said that if there is blood on your steak, don't fucking bitch about it, but i never said straight up drinking it.
I've reverted back to my medium steaks. Medium well just didn't have the flavor I liked.
I've reverted back to my medium steaks. Medium well just didn't have the flavor I liked.
Medium Rare is the best.
What are you afraid of?
Food borne illnesses that like to hang out in the blood stream. Fun fact: Whole cut meat like a t-bone steak are sterile and can potentially be consumed raw, so long as you make sure the surface of the meat is cleaned. Mixed meat such as hamburgers have a much higher potential of food borne illnesses and must be thoroughly cooked to ensure it is safe to eat. Now we're talking about stuff you buy from a supermarket, not if you kill the cow yourself.
I like my steaks medium rare, so it's juicy with blood.
i like them medium
Without blood we would be dead.
I like my steaks RARE.
