I used to enjoy downloading all of my GMod needs from there. Now it tells me to sign in with my Steam credentials. At first I didn't believe that it said that. Then I click to log in, and I see the site magically gets a steam look. This is fucking weird.
I never trust anyone with my Steam shit, and garrysmod.org is making it hard for me to do so.

It's perfectly safe, and official. The site uses the API in such a way that garrysmod.org never gets your details, it's just checking them through steam.

It even uses steamworks, which is owned by valve. This is all solid evidence that valve is trying to steal our steam accounts.
