I never knew about this, christ he could have killed that kid. Those things are heavy
This is the first IH video that I just didn't like. Head injuries are no joke and this is actual violence we're talking about from an extremist group, so his attempt to dress it up as humorous just falls flat to me.
I don't know whats worse, assault with a deadly weapon or the fact that this scrub went into a raid with an almost broken weapon.
This is just as impressive as that Shia labeouf's CTF.
I never knew about this, christ he could have killed that kid. Those things are heavy
The problem is that this one person has given excuse (and good reason) to have both sides escalate. That and the M80s/pyrotechnics Antifa threw. Like imagine, you see this and you are going to make sure to wear armor, helmets, and the sort just because of this possibility.
I'm still not sure if the battle of berkly is hilarious or horrifying.

what the fuck who in their right mind would fucking bash someone in the head with a bike lock for trying to keep the peace?
So was he like, using the same bike lock to brutalize all of these people, or was just strapped with locks?

I didn't know people actually figured out who this was, good on them. Sucks he's still on the lamb, at least he's probably scared shitless by now and won't be hitting anyone else in the head with bike locks.
So was he like, using the same bike lock to brutalize all of these people, or was just strapped with locks?
Looks like the same one over and over, he probably only had the one. It's probably been tossed in some bin somewhere, after being washed of blood. [editline]12th May 2017[/editline]
The fight against fascism is an ugly one indeed.
There is no fight against fascism, because there is no fascism in the government. There is degrees of corruption, and there is an asshole orange for a president, but do you see military police around? Do you see curfews being enforced, or people being thrown into labor camps? They're instigating this violence because they don't know how else to express themselves, so they resort back to the most simplistic primal instincts. Antifa are a horde of extremist liberal goblins, and I'm saying this as someone who identifies as a democrat.
The fight against fascism is an ugly one indeed.
Ah yes using violence to suppress dissenting opinion is a true noble cause.
/pol/'s full of a bunch of lunatics but you gotta give them props for their internet detective work.
Just an update to the story: Professor was arrested. http://www.eastbaytimes.com/2017/05/24/berkeley-college-professor-arrested-as-assault-suspect/

Ive read antifa websites. Climate change is the only issue I can see justification for force or them mobilizing for. Every other option or outlet to deal with the issue has been exhausted and no progress made. If not dealt with, many people will suffer and die. Yet then it still a case of targeting companies responsible for the damage. Not every day folks. [editline]25th May 2017[/editline]
The fight against fascism is an ugly one indeed.
I'm starting see it not as left vs right but assholes vs non assholes. Left and right are just different expressions of a persons intristic asshole nature.
You don't fight ideas with violence, for fuck sakes. Stop being stupid
I disagree. Violence is always an option. The question should be "Is violence the best option for this situation?". If yes, then the next question should be what the most cost effective method of using violence to achieve desired goals. Right now the only issue which justifies violence is climate change and I explained why. Everything else? No. Claiming we live in a fascist state cause trump won reeks of a paranoid and unbalanced personality. If a person can't handle losing an election, what makes them think they would be able to handle a loss during a violent and armed conflict? Let alone the stress of carrying out a revolution?
Holy shit, this fucknugget was caught in Cali, and one of his crimes is Possession of Firearms during Felony, with intent. For anyone who doesn't know how serious that is, here in the states, it's already 15 years for being caught during felonies with a gun, but getting caught being on the run from a felony case, with a firearm is a whole nother' bag of worms. If his bail isn't paid, he is more then likely getting 10 to 20 in the minimum.
When you try to stop an idea with violence, you're only giving people believing in it more reasons to dig their heels in while escalating the situation. Using violence is only going to make more violence, that's all you're gonna get out of it
I agree with you to an extent, but if places like the 13 colonies didn't push back against the British in the 1700s I wouldn't be living in the United States of America; Which I think is what Guriosity is trying to say.

Using violence is only going to make more violence, that's all you're gonna get out of it
Which is why I said one must consider is violence the best option for the situation. In this case, no. The most cost effective means of countering the alt right is create new ideas which lead them away from it. Many so called Nazis are with that group cause they getting very sick and tired of the " everything is bigoted " left. Most are libertarian but are stuck with fucking frogs. They are not happy about it. The other is Clinton was seen as deeply corrupt. Wanna prevent more GOP clowns gaining power? It might be a good idea to clean up the DNC. Violence by the left isn't needed in this situation. An acknowledgment they fucked up and reform their ranks and behavior is what is needed. In case of climate change? Direct confrontation is the only option left.

The guy taught ethics to kids and nearly killed an innocent bystander, so I am not going to act like he was thinking rationally.
