Wearing his trademark dark sunglasses, the 6-foot 7-inch (2.01 meter) Rodman emerged at Beijing's international airport, a common waystation for travelers to and from North Korea, with an unlit cigar in his mouth.
"That's not my job to ask about Kenneth Bae. Ask Obama about that. Ask Hillary Clinton," he told a throng of reporters. "I don't give a shit."
Kim and Rodman spent quality time together by having dinner and watching a basketball game during Rodman's five-day trip, the North's KCNA news agency reported.
The report added Kim warmly welcomed Rodman and had a "cordial talk". Rodman reportedly expressed his thanks to the leader for spending time with him, saying Kim's greeting is "an expression of good faith towards the Americans".
Rodman showed reporters in Beijing pictures of him meeting Kim, and said he had given Kim a gift of his Bad Boy vodka, which "he loved".
why dont you just marry kim if you love him so much
I wonder how good Kim is at basketball and it must be pretty surreal to hang out with Kim Jong-Un and presumably get drunk with him over Vodka. And why the hell do the reporters think he'll speak/negotiate over sensitive issues like Kenneth Bae while in North Korea, that is simply asking for trouble.
Dennis is our only hope help us

I always thought this. It must be completely surreal. But on the other hand when you've lived a life where majority of it is in the spotlight, it must be pretty good to have one place where you're virtually unreachable. I wonder what they could possibly be talking about. Not to mention it just wasn't any vodka, it was Rodman's vodka
Just fuck already!
I wonder what kind of stuff they talk about. I mean, where do the similiarities even start? Aside from basketball, I guess.
How did their relationship even start?
Kim Jong-Il was a giant basketball fan and of Michael Jordan in particular. If I'm not mistaken, he even owned VHS copies of every Bulls match MJ has ever played. Probably passed that fandom on to his son.
How did their relationship even start?
He originally wanted to do a variant on the ping-pong diplomacy between the US and China in the 70s iirc. He seemed to miss the important part where political issues are put aside for the mutual pursuit of sport, and chose to directly ingratiate himself to Kim.

how hilarious would it be if dennis rodman turned out to be the one who opened up relations with nk?
soon he'll be immortalized in the textbooks of young americans and koreans
Rodman also pledged to help release U.S. citizen Kenneth Bae, who is imprisoned by North Korea and has been sentenced to 15 years hard labor for charges that include preaching Christianity and undermining the state. “I’m gonna try to get the guy out,” Rodman said. Earlier this week, he tweeted his request that Kim “do me a solid” and release Bae.
kind of tactless to backflip on this with the phrase 'I don't give a shit'

Something about that Coke is really dwarfing everything else in that picture.

I'm pretty sure 5'11 me would dwarf everything else in that picture.
I don't care what anybody says, I think Rodman's friendship with the leader of fucking north korea is heartwarming. Doesn't excuse what Kim's done, but it's nice that we learn about his human side.

What is that white dot on the hair of the man directly above the girl? Is it a hot pixel or an image artifact.
Why do I get the feeling that if Mr. Rodman asked, then Mr. Bae would be released? Isn't he really close to Kim Jong-un?

I think you found a ghost.
Something about that Coke is really dwarfing everything else in that picture.
It's certainly getting Rodman's attention.
"They've got Coke in North Korea!"
Wouldn't it be interesting if Rodman returned from one of these trips and had been made a general or some other such high position?
They are so cute together, you think they made out yet?
You guys are missing the big picture here, while Rodman sweet talks Kim Jong Un, Jean Claude Van Damme is sneaking through North Korean sewers dropping both bad guys and witty one liners.

Sadly, his accent prevents anyone from actually hearing what he says.
