"We will not allow customization of menu controls." What? Why?
"We will not allow customization of menu controls." What? Why?
Too hard to do. :v:
No it's just pointless.
No it's just pointless.
I don't see why a consistent setup for your buttons is pointless. I also don't see why one would absolutely refuse to give people the freedom to change something like that.
Wait I don't get it, do third-party gamepads work now?
No it's just pointless.
Maybe, but they phrase it as if they would never allow it, which is strange.
Well, I'm glad I can configure my run and jump keys, at least. I am very good at A being my run and Z being my jump.
Custom keys don't work and my sound is dead once I get in the actual game. Good patch.
I'm glad they're patching it and all, but I don't see the point in making it so people cannot customize menu controls to their liking.
Okay, appearantly buttonmap is named buttommap in the directory because he made a typo. After changing the keys to my liking and THEN renaming it properly they work, also my sound is fine, they were all reset to 0 in sound options for some reason. I was just kind of pissed because I bought this game at launch thinking it would be a proper, simple PC release with out of the box keymapping and it wasn't. I have very large hands and playing with the arrow keys made my right hand cramp up and I couldn't play for more than an hour without having to stop entirely, not to mention I always use W A S D to move about. Changed left and right arrow to a and d respectively and now I can play with my left hand now that all the functions I need are easily reachable. Now that it's playable hopefully I can start making real progress after I get off of work tomorrow. Hope that post helps anyone who's having issues.
For some reason when I started it, all the volume options went down to 0. Just turn them back up.
We will not allow customization of menu controls.
Taking a stand, how brave of them. :golfclap:
Damn it Steam, why aren't you announcing the really important news. Railworks finally hit $2000 dollars for all the DLC :v:
What ARE the menu controls? I've got no idea what to press to buy characters and such
Why won't they allow custom bindings of the menu controls? That's just inconvenient to the player.
Xbox controller better work.
Xbox controller better work.
Xbox controls have been supported from it's release.
Ugh.... This game seems nice
