But new photos from NASA have found a near identical rendering of the iconic Disney character on the planet Mercury. The face and big ears are not Mickey’s,
(no shit)
just three overlapping craters in Mercury’s southern hemisphere. The look-alike picture was shot by NASA’s Messenger spacecraft, currently in orbit around the solar system’s innermost planet. Images taken when the sun is low on the horizon help scientists see the planet’s small-scale surface features because of the long shadows. “The shadowing helps define the striking ‘Mickey Mouse’ resemblance, created by the accumulation of craters over Mercury’s long geologic history,” says NASA in the photo description on Flickr. The three-crater configuration is near a larger crater called Magritte, the space agency reports. Messenger, launched in 2004 on a long orbital tour of the inner solar system, went into orbit around Mercury in 2011 after flying by in 2008. The long trip was plotted as a way to use a smaller, less expensive rocket to launch the ship from Earth. The spacecraft received a yearlong extension of its mission in order to acquire another 80,000 or so images of the planet on top of the 88,746 images it’s already collected.
Protip, include the picture as well. I'll dig it out
But new photos from NASA have found a near identical rendering of the iconic Disney character on the planet Mercury.
Because 3 circles is an extremely complicated shape, making this extremely amazing and rare.
three circles, half life 3 ARG. Gabe is getting tricky.
This seems like the kind of thing you think to yourself jokingly and then not say anything about because it's really not that funny or amusing.
Disney is getting really starting to overdo these "hidden mickey" things.
All I see is
:D

Disney is getting really starting to overdo these "hidden mickey" things.
Mercury Mouse

Have they found Jesus yet?
Walt Disney Mars Resort Only a matter of time before they open the gates of hell :v:
Are you telling me, that they found 3 circles on the surface of one of the trillion trillion planets out there, that are arranged in such a way, that they look like Mickey Mouse, which is also made up of just 3 circles? No Fucking Way Even still I think Paradox Interactive when I see that, not Mickey Mouse
I once thought I saw Dumbo's trunk sticking out of Uranus, that's almost as good as seeing Mickey on Mercury.
Nothing would ever get posted here if you slow news goons had your way
uh plenty of interesting relevant shit gets posted that everyone is fine with this isn't an example of that
Why is my IQ going down?

maybe that's where the suicide mouse lost tape is
Reminds me of that Disney Channel segment where they look for a hidden Mickey Mouse (shape) in Disney Movies. [editline]23rd June 2012[/editline] If I remember the rules correctly it's only a real "Hidden Mickey" if Disney owns or is associated with the place/film it's found in.
A big circle with 2 smaller circles beside it, it must be Mickey Mouse!
No it isn't! Thats Jesus!

This just in: evidence of water on Mercury.
Walt Disney secretly created his own space army.
A big circle with 2 smaller circles beside it, it must be Mickey Mouse!
This planet contains content from The Walt Disney Company, who has blocked it on copyright grounds.
What we really need to find is a face of Jesus on Mars. Christians in America will be throwing their money at the government to go to Mars.
