Discussing Gay marriage rights in front of your friends.

So I was having lunch at school the other day and a friend brings up a girl who is lesbian, the conversation eventually turns into "should gays have a right to marry?" all my friends think yes they should but I wasn't sure what to say. I just decided to go with the flow and say "yeah they should". But I personally think it's a little gross to see two beautiful girls make out, I think that's a waste of beauty when some poor fat girl dreams she could look like that. I didn't want to say that in front of my friends because I didn't want them to think I was a heartless negative person and all that sutff.
This is after all a common subject/debate in today's society. Should I just say it next time it comes up? is that why friends respect you in the first place? I don't know..

What?
If you don't have the courage to stand up for your beliefs and argue a point then you really shouldn't bother, because chances are you aren't as concrete in believing it as you think you are. Either that or you are insecure about losing friends over a trivial social situation.

Please grow up.

That's just my opinion.. everyone is entitled to it.

Not on the internet

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but that doesn't mean you can't get an ass-smashing for having it.
When your opinion negatively effects a huge group of people, you shouldn't really expect anyone to take it and not speak out.
Basically stop being a horrible person with your preconceived notions of gays.

You're entitled to your opinion, just as people are within their rights to criticize your opinion.
Because marriage is all about making out in public right? What has beauty got to do with Marriage at all?
Isn't this supposed to be in Mass debate?
Anyway you're perfectly entitled to your opinion, but if you really believe in your opinion you should be prepared to argue for it when people argue against it.
Also
I think that's a waste of beauty when some poor fat girl dreams she could look like that.
How exactly does "two beautiful girls make out," have any impact on how another person is or appears? Girls are always going to dream they could look better, whether beautiful people make out or marry or not.
I think you're confusing "should gay people marry" with "am i comfortable seeing gay people do the things that straight couples do in public."
So you're homophobic AND you just agree with people instead of stating your opinions? Good for you!
