Cringe of the highest level, why do scriptwriters try so hard yet fail so miserably at trying to convince the viewer by just throwing muddled computer words at them.
Even if they have no idea what it is, can't they just type hacker on the Youtube search bar and find a non gimmick video about it? Thinking about it now though, if I was a script writer I would probably do something like this without making it too obvious.

scenes like this are in literally every crime show, i'm personally convinced that they all do it on purpose just for laughs
I swear I read somewhere that this is a game scriptwriters play to see how much bullshit they can get away with and still have the results made and aired.
It's because real hacking is boring as shit to see actually happen, and it's only interesting if you know what they're doing and why.
