I guess the fact that I was going over 300 km/h with a liftback did not affect you really much. With a game which is supposed to be realistic.

That is because playing Arma in a serious manner is much more engaging, fun and thrilling than not to. The best games i had in Arma were on unitedoperations.net when we played outnumbered 1:2 and still managed to hold our town.

That's surprising. I actively play on UO and by the average level of competence among their regulars I wouldn't rate them very highly. They do have the scale, and there are a lot of players who do know their shit but there are so many who really don't - constantly questioning SL orders, bad comms practice, poor observation etc and it really stops me from playing sometimes - I look at some players there and wonder what they're doing on a game like ArmA
I frequently play with a British division who focus on realism but still keep it fun.
We are all a bunch of armchair generals after all.
Never liked wasteland or zombiemods for the game, give me a good pvp or large scale coop campaign set over the course of a couple of weeks.

I don't know where you're getting that from, almost all servers I have been on play it like Battlefield.

You are right, but i still enjoy most my time on that server, especially TVT's
It was alright, needs a bit of polish but I still giggled at the end.
