“In our culture, the Tembu culture, that I know, the African culture that I know you never release the person unless the person has told you please my children, my family release me. My dad hasn’t said that to us. So these people who want to talk about, you know, release him, he hasn’t said we should release him and we haven’t come to the end yet. It is only God who knows the end,” she told CNN. On a positive note, Makaziwe added that she feels her father is at peace. He can still open his eyes, according to the interview. “Yes, I believe he is at peace. He is at peace with himself. He has given so much to the world I believe he is at peace,” she added.
http://hollywoodlife.com/2013/06/24/nelson-mandela-critical-condition-family-asks-for-prayers-twitter/
God rest his soul. I know FP probably doesn't care, but I'll be praying for him.
God rest his soul. I know FP probably doesn't care, but I'll be praying for him.
Same, may the Lord rest his soul. Edit: Why the "funny" rating?
He's accomplished more in his life than most ever will He'll die a hero
What a life he's been through, sad to know the end is near for him
he's probably the most celebrated [sp]terrorists[/sp] in the history of mankind, and for good reason he had a good run
its such a shame he had to spend over 1/4 of his life in prison
I'm glad he was at least able to live his life long enough to see his accomplishments celebrated.
he's probably the most celebrated [sp]terrorists[/sp] in the history of mankind, and for good reason he had a good run
that's a plural there under that black box nelson mandela is actually two men in a trenchcoat the world's most celebrated presidential duo and international art thieves nelson and mandela
He has lived to a ripe old age, and left a mark on this world that none of us will even come close to. Do not mourn his passing, but instead celebrate his life.
He has lived to a ripe old age, and left a mark on this world that none of us will even come close to. Do not mourn his passing, but instead celebrate his life.
He ain't dead yet, man. Jeez, give him a chance :v:
He played my favorite batman character. RIP
He was great in the Shawshank Redemption.
I had to do an English assignment on a famous person a few years back, and I got given Nelson Mandela, I knew nothing about him or anything, but as i read more and more i learned what a really cool dude he was. this is really sad news..
I'll never forget when I went to robben island and got taken on a tour by an ex prisoner, the shit they were subjected to is ridiculous. Nelson Mandela cannot cry because while mining his tear ducts got damaged
Truly an inspiration
[sp]praying doesn't do anything and he doesn't read fp so he can't even get false hope from knowing you're praying either[/sp]
There's always one. Congrats. You're "That guy."
praying doesn't do anything and he doesn't read fp so he can't even get false hope from knowing you're praying either
smells kinda euphoric in here
[sp]praying doesn't do anything and he doesn't read fp so he can't even get false hope from knowing you're praying either[/sp]
Sorry, can you put that in meme form - so I can reach the same level of euphoria that you have achieved through your own intelligence?
Nelson Mandela has fought for social justice for 67 years. Take 67 seconds out of your day to honor this man.

But you're gone for a day, so you can't read it.
Such a shame the world is about to lose such a great man.
he is now currently on life support
They say you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain. If he'd lived long enough to become the villain, he'd have been immortal.
