MH370: Missing Malaysia Airlines plane 'shot down by US Air Force in 9/11 fear' former leading airl
Mark Dugain, former CEO of Proteus Airlines, believes the mystery Boeing 777 was shot out of the sky by the US Air Force fearing another September 11 attack.

The Frenchman's claims emerged in a recent edition of Paris Match, where he explains how he spoke with residents in the Maldives after the event.
He said locals told him of how they saw a "huge plane" with "red and blue stripes on a white background” had flown over them at a "low altitude"
And others, on the island of Baarah, showed him photos of devices seized by Maldives military that experts believed was a Malaysia Airlines fire extinguisher.
From his experience, Mr Dugain believes the plane was travelling past the island of Diego Garcia, where a US Navy base is situated, when it came down.
Mr Dugain is not the first big aviation name to speak out about a potential conspiracy theory.
Emirates president and CEO Sir Tim Clark made world headlines in October claiming search teams should have found some sort of wreckage. And he said it "raises a degree of suspicion".
A large-scale search has been ongoing over the Indian Ocean, where experts believe the plane may have come down.
Officials believe the search, which was meant to conclude by May 2015, may not be complete until 2016.
Paranoia must be filling the air of France I see.

Makes sense, considering MaxOfS2D can't post on Facepunch anymore.
if it was near US waters i'd believe it, but it's nowhere near

Because we blast the red white and blue on every one of our fighter jets.

I believe he's talking about MH370, not the alleged attacker.

I'm actually keeping MH370 in my basement for the Air Force, that's why there's no wreckage

Russia puts a red star on their planes though.

Blast! First our failed submarine invasion of Sweden, and now this??
Great. Now the crazy fuckers will use this and never shut up
Can someone briefly explain the idea. Any evidence it's USAF that shot it down?

As much evidence as 9/11 being an inside job :tinfoil:
why the hell would the US shoot down a plane heading towards China?
why the hell would the US shoot down a plane heading towards China?
because it turned off its transponders for some reason?
[editline]22nd December 2014[/editline]
usa world police etc etc
I don't think its true but it isn't a bad theory.
If the pilots did turn of the transponders and were flying low near a US base then it could have been shot down. But shooting down a foreign passenger plane regardless if it's going to crash into a base would have cause all kinds of PR shitstorms. Shoot it down and hide the fact it happened..

oh yeah I forgot that the US has bases all over
wouldn't be the first time the US has shot a civilian jumbo jet
edit: if its true

There's more than just U.S. Military personnel on that island, it's a joint activity between the United Kingdom and United States. So that would also be implicating the United Kingdom and America and whatever other random Military happens to work there too had something to hide.
I think this theory makes sense.
The US sees the plane got hijacked (because the transponder is turned off and it changed direction, maybe heading towards a US military base?), so they either shot it down or send it inaccurate GPS signals so it gets lost and runs out of fuel over the Indian Ocean.
Well, everything is possible.
+1 theory in my theories folder.

... You're kidding, right?
You realize this plane had NO WAY of even getting to US soil, given the amount of fuel it carried and the location it was at?
Even getting to hawaii is a gigantic stretch which means you basically need to miracle some fuel in to the tanks.

Diego Garcia is a joint-U.S/United Kingdom Naval/Air base located in the Indian ocean. With that being said what he said is still pretty stupid.

A plane disappeared. So basically none. Alien Abduction is the only theory that hasn't been thrown around
I believe we'd shoot a civilian airliner down on purpose, but only if we know it's been hijacked and was about to fly into a city center.
Lives on a plane being lost is a better outcome than lives on the plane and additional lives on the ground. Terrible thought, but it is

The US have military bases everywhere, they have one on Diego Garcia for instance.
Like I'm not claiming it was shot down by the US but it's definitely a possibility.
all these flags...it's all making sense now.
