"We've had enough debates in my opinion," Trump told reporters Friday, the morning after the GOP's 12th debate of this campaign season. The Republican Party has scheduled another debate for March 21 in Salt Lake City, but Trump said he was unaware of it and indicated he would not be there. Trump praised Thursday's debate in Miami, a more genteel affair than previous events in which the New York businessman found himself under attack by rivals Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz. "It would be nice to finish off with this one," Trump said of the Miami debate. The Republican field may well shrink after Tuesday's primaries — which include Rubio's home state of Florida and John Kasich's home state of Ohio — but the businessman's remaining opponents will likely push for more debates. Cruz in particular has said he is eager for a one-on-one showdown with Trump.
http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2016/03/11/trump-debates-florida-utah-republican-race/81637216/
Do it, throw your campaign away Trump.
It's not really up to your fucking opinion, you know.
Do it, throw your campaign away Trump.
You think that out of all the dumbass things he's done so far that this would be what ruins his campaign lol
Do it, throw your campaign away Trump.
He has already thrown his campaign away several times. Pretty much this: http://www.theonion.com/article/i-suffer-severe-psychological-issues-and-i-need-he-52513
You think that out of all the dumbass things he's done so far that this would be what ruins his campaign lol
Sadly, there is enough people in this country that believe him and everything he says, supports, and follows. America is divided. I wanna say the country will literally split in half like 1865, but only time can tell if the people keep fighting or give up.
Trump has nothing to gain in the debates. He's already leading the polls — however — his recent poor debate performances may hamper his lead. He simply stands nothing to gain by continuing to risk his image at the debate, but has everything to lose.
http://www.theonion.com/article/will-be-end-trumps-campaign-says-increasingly-nerv-52002
SALISBURY, MD—Repeating identical comments he had made in June, July, August, September, and twice in November, increasingly nervous local man Aaron Howe responded to Donald Trump’s call to ban Muslims from entering the U.S. Monday by once again stating this would be the end of the Republican frontrunner’s campaign, sources confirmed. “Well, that’s it—you just can’t say those kinds of things and expect to be taken seriously any longer,” said an anxious Howe, his voice quavering slightly as he spoke aloud the very same words he had previously uttered in reaction to remarks about Mexicans, women, the disabled, former POW John McCain, and a number of other targeted parties. “That’s the final nail in the coffin right there. There’s no way he’s coming back from this one.” At press time, a visibly tense Howe was steadily amassing the angst and exasperation that would be unleashed in his seventh expletive-filled exclamation of the year when he catches sight of the newest set of GOP poll numbers.
Do it, throw your campaign away Trump.
Trump basically has nothing new to say anyway. All the debates are staged against him yet he still comes out as #1. Rubio and Cruz are basically copying Trump's banter style and double teaming him and its more annoying than it is effective. Also I don't think Trump can do anything to throw away his campaign, his supporters eat up everything he does. [editline]12th March 2016[/editline]
It's not really up to your fucking opinion, you know.
No but people watch the debates either for Trump's bantz or to see Trump get attacked by everyone. With him gone its just a generic debate (that still attacks him anyway), and while its still important it doesn't garner as much attention, and that affects the debate hosts.
You think that out of all the dumbass things he's done so far that this would be what ruins his campaign lol
Actually, withdrawing from the Iowa debate did hurt him
Honestly, we've had a dozen debates so far with nothing but the candidates yelling and screaming at each other like petulant children, and no useful information being passed on to the voter. I can't really disagree with Trump here.
Do it, throw your campaign away Trump.
Nah, hell say something else two days later and every major news reporter will be on it for a week [Sp]this is why he is winning the race, thank you media attention [/sp]
whoa...dude, where'd you find this article? never seen it before, it's great
The entire point of it is that it's continually relevant
The entire point of it is that it's continually relevant
The entire point of his post is that it was the second time it was posted in this thread with only 3 posts separating them.
He'll spend the rest of this stage insulting his opponents and their supporters (seriously he's been a complete cunt recently, not just a bit of a knobhead) and refusing to say anything useful or civil and still win. America, fuck yeah...?
TBH I agree. Pretty much every Republican debate has been the same shitfest recently.
Note that the next debate is scheduled for March 21 - If Trump does as well as we're expecting on March 15, he will have no reason to attend future debates as there will no longer be any realistic chance of anyone taking the nomination from him
It'll probably improve his chances, a lot of idiots will think he's really sticking it to the man by not attending and vote for him because he's strong for whatever reason.
I feel as if many Trump supporters are only supporting him for the male power fantasy incarnate more than his actual policies. As much as I absolutely despite Trump, the debates are pretty much an anti-Trump anti-Obamafest anyway, so it'd do little good if he stayed.
I feel as if many Trump supporters are only supporting him for the male power fantasy incarnate more than his actual policies. [editline]13th March 2016[/editline] Well here's to Kasich sweeping states and forcing an open convention, as unlikely as it is :v:
The actual likelyhood of Kasich managing an open convention is practically nil. Given the results of the most recent pollings, Trump won't fare much better, come the general election.
