Around 11 a.m. a grandmother walking with her 5-year-old-grandson observed a white van with no windows stop. Paulette Barchus told police a black male got out of the vehicle and approached her grandson and tried grabbing him. Police say Barchus, who is guardian of her grandson, grabbed him and started kicking the male to get him to let go of her grandson. The male did let go and got back into his vehicle and sped off southbound towards the south end of town.

Subject Description: Black male, thin build, approximately 6 feet tall, mid-20s, short hair to bald, clean shaven, wearing faded blue jeans with a rip across the left knee, heather gray T-shirt, black tennis shoes. Vehicle Description: White older model van with no windows. Possibly a Ford full-size van. No identifying marks.
Source.
I'd have shot him
badass grandma
I'd have shot him
I'd have slipped him with space lube and force fed him unstable mutagen.
The little kid should rape him instead justice
I'd have shot him
I was going to have something legitimate to say in response to the OP; but I can perceive that we have a bad ass motherfucker over here, some sorta vigilante type. I'm outta here. #fear4mylyfe
the title is sort of decieving though, the man still got away with the kid.
the title is sort of decieving though, the man still got away with the kid.
Except if you actually took the time to read the article you'd see that he didn't get the kid at all. :|
The male did let go and got back into his vehicle and sped off southbound towards the south end of town. "I knew I had to do something to help my grandson," Barchus said. "My heart was beating a mile a minute." The pair was unhurt but scared. A second witness observed the vehicle and reported it turned southbound on Columbus Avenue towards Lytle Street.

the title is sort of decieving though, the man still got away with the kid.
What no he didnt, did you read? e: ninjas fuck
misread it as "did not let go", silly me [editline]23rd May 2013[/editline] how the fuck did I manage that
Shooting an attempted child abductor is a perfectly legitimate response, I'd say.
In the middle of attempting to abduct a child? Possibly, if you weren't going to hit the child. After the fact? Due process should take place (as fucked up as the legal system is). But in reality the grandmother did not have a gun, Wingz was not there with a gun; posting about how you would just shoot the sack of shit isn't exactly contributing to any discussion relevant to the actual news article, what happened or what is going to happen; I mean, unless one of you decides to hunt this guy down and shoot him yourselves. Otherwise you're just wasting your time on immature hypotheticals that hardly reflect the actual topic at hand, considering it's a wistful subjective opinion that actually has nothing to do with anything in the article and it's just going to lead to another useless internet argument over whether or not this guy deserves to get shot, and I consider it highly unlikely we're going to be reading an article any time soon about how some random dude hunted this guy down and shot him out of some misplaced sense of justice because he read this on some forum somewhere. If he's going to get shot he's probably going to get shot by the police or some upstanding member of society while he's in the middle of doing some horrid act; wishing yourself into the grandmother's shoes with a glock really is a useless road to go down.
I'd have slipped him with space lube and force fed him unstable mutagen.
Way to hold a grudge.
The grandma and parents must be going through hell now. Hopefully Police will be able to track this scum down before he does anything harmful to the kid.
Well these people won't be leaving their house for a while. I'd be scared shitless.
Way to hold a grudge.
I know, failrp out the ass.

Jesus who gives a fuck, its no dumber than half the shit posted in response to articles like these.
If you're going to be a child abductor, why would you have the vehicle that just screams "Hey, there's a 50/50 chance I like stealing children"?
Old Ford/GM/Dodge vans are cheap as fuck, blend in easily with other traffic, and are practical for abductions - big storage areas, and some old work trucks have locks on the outside of the back doors.
