This is some stuff that I made for class over the past 4 months or so, thought I'd post it since my teacher only really critiques my weekly drawings (due every friday) and rarely my projects. Thought I'd make a thread since I have so much.
I'll say it right now before someone else does; my camera sucks balls so some of the pictures as the ass end of quality, I plan on taking better pictures tomorrow when I can get my hands on a better camera.

I really like all of these, but you probably already knew that.
You draw hands much better than me.

Proportions need serious work. Shading too, need more contrast and gradients. Your watercolor work is very simplistic.

Yes, painting is deffinetly not my strong point. Especially watercolors.

Don't do work only for the class, do it out of class as well.
Look up all sorts of tutorials or the next time you meet your teatcher say:
"God damn it are you going to help me improve or are you here just to praise me!"

I actually do work for me and not the class just all the drawings that I didn't do solely for the class I can't get them to scan them right now.

Anyway you should give your teatcher a good yell at cause if I am correct he does jack shit for your improvement.

Might be the perspective the picture was taken from?

For taking pictures lay the picture on flat ground under as much natural light as possible, use a tripod or hold the camera so you capture the image flat, take a shot and you're done.
