Time for unnecessary sequels/prequels without Denis
I was like why would there be a 2, and then I remembered whom financed the film.
It’s not just Soldado anymore? Fuck. Anyway, I hate the trailer, but it looks neat enough, I’ll probably see it. Sicario was one of my all time favorites of that year.
lets see. it's got the writer of the first film and hell or highwater, it's not roger deaking but seems fine enough, could have a decent sequel
That pistol scene with Benicio is borderline laughable.
The "...everyone" line at the end made me actually say 'fuck off'. Looks bad.
The photography looks almost as good as in the first film though. If it's got eye candy at least, that'd be something. [editline]19th December 2017[/editline] But yeah, this trailer is pretty bad, it might turn out to be a good surprise.
The cinematography looks nowhere near as good as Roger Deakins work from the first one. It look's like a direct to dvd movie.
It’s not just Soldado anymore?
I think it is but they don't want to promote it without the extra tag.
I thought the first one was good it didn't seem like it needed a second one.
this reminds me of Magic Mike/Magic Mike XL will not be seeing this film
The fuck, it's literally Fast & Furious now.
That pistol scene looked really dumb. I liked the first one but this one just seems bad.
despite a different director and dp, it looks good, especially those long shots. not as good as Villeneuve/Deakins, but good. Sollima directed Gomorrah which was one of the best tv shows of 2014.
That pistol scene with Benicio is borderline laughable.
I think it's to simulate automatic fire and make it look like an amateur hit. makes sense if he's trying to start a war between the cartels. I'm pretty sure it's not going to be a dumb, action-packed movie. Taylor Sheridan (Sicario, Hell or High Water, Wind River) wrote the script.
If Sheridan is on board, I'm in.
That pistol scene with Benicio is borderline laughable.
he shoots pistols the way i play time crisis!
Who in the world thought that it would be a good idea to have Del Toro shoot a pistol like a 3 year old, and think it was cool.
Who in the world thought that it would be a good idea to have Del Toro shoot a pistol like a 3 year old, and think it was cool.
you don't understand, you have to shoot the stationary guy on the ground REALLY FAST while just standing there
Who in the world thought that it would be a good idea to have Del Toro shoot a pistol like a 3 year old, and think it was cool.
They're only paying homage to great art.
he wiped out a family in the blink of an eye without missing a shot. that doesn't fit his M.O.
Haha the fuck, Benicio was deliberate and cold as fuck in the first movie, especially the last scene. Now he's just bumpfiring on helpless targets for the fucking meme of it.
Who in the world thought that it would be a good idea to have Del Toro shoot a pistol like a 3 year old, and think it was cool.
It looked pretty cool tbh. As previous people have said, he's probably simulating a hit and run w/ an automatic gun. Not precision of a professional hit.
Trailer looks dumb but hopefully the movie turns out like the first one
I don't understand the hate.. Bumpfiring 15 rounds and turning a torso into bloody swiss cheese is right up an angry hitman's alley. It is safe to assume that businessman belonged to one of the cartels.
It looked pretty cool tbh. As previous people have said, he's probably simulating a hit and run w/ an automatic gun. Not precision of a professional hit.
This is a good theory.. [editline]20th December 2017[/editline]
The cinematography looks nowhere near as good as Roger Deakins work from the first one. There isn't enough time in a hype-trailer to give you the raw footage that the first used to set up its scenes so memorably.
What the fuck? It stood so well on it's own :s:
Haha the fuck, Benicio was deliberate and cold as fuck in the first movie, especially the last scene. This doesn't feel the same.
That pistol scene with Benicio is borderline laughable.
funny because the japanese title of the movie is actually 'borderline'. but it looks okay. but without denis there is a zero percent chance of it being better than the first.
