I just listenend to this album all the way through this summer, and it changed me. I'm thirteen years old, just wanted to get that out of the way for the trolls and haters. But anyways, the lyrics in this are just amazing. Everyone interpets this differently, and everyone will visualize the album and its meanining differently. You'll have Brain Damage stuck in your head for at least a month, and you'll start to think that there really is a lunar tick in your head. Listen to this album if you haven't already, I gurantee that it is worth the 9.99 on iTunes.
For those of you that have heard it and know what I'm talking about, tell us about the first time you heard it, your experinces with it, and how you feel about it. Oh, and of course tell us your favorite song on the album!
There is no dark side of the moon really, as a matter of fact it's all dark...
I didn't like it.
If you start the album at the 3rd mgm lion roar of the movie The Wizard of OZ, and mute the movie the album syncs up perfectly with the it.
Eclipse is the best song on the album in my opinion. I am not sure why.
great gig in the sky
fucking amazing
brain damage + eclipse = oh my goddddddddd yes
Great album, but Pink Floyd has done so much better. I suggest Meddle.
Money is the one song that just doesn't fit for me.
The rest of the album is golden, though.

Love the song,
doesn't fit on the album.

hmmm
sort of agree.
But I would have to say it works with the concept
Bloody amazing album. Great Gig in the Sky is awesome.
It's an absolute wonder of an album, but in my opinion Wish You Were Here is better
Also I bought DSoM on 12" a few weeks back and listened to it all the way through, was amazing apart from a TINY HAIRLINE SCRATCH AFTER THE FIRST CHORUS ON BRAIN DAMAGE WHICH MAKES IT REPEAT HNNNNNNNGH
RUN! Rabbit Run!
Yeah man that song is a classic
It's also apparently the best album to listen to when you're high

(except maybe Lateralus by Tool)
I own this album.
On my never-ending list of records to buy.

I feel the same way, it's really the only song from Dark Side of the Moon that they play on classic rock stations (thankfully I don't listen to those anymore).
Time is my favorite song on the album, though. It's so awesome.
Brian Damage is my personal favorite... money does seem out of place but I still love the song.
I also forgot to mention that Us and Them is orgasmic
Time is one of my alarms.

My dad said something about that.
Time is one of my alarms.
amazing song. The vocals are so catchy and the guitar is so stiff yet so soulful. For the first half of the song it's just super SUPER hot and short fills then you get this solo with huge reverb and it's beautiful
btw Time and Brain Damage receive radio air play, though not as much as money

Do you realize that's a crime against humanity?
I love this album, my parents have a vinyl record of it. And a record player hooked up to speakers that are almost 3 feet high.
I love this album. It just never gets old.

Do you realize different people like different things?
It's true, go look it up.
Lol guy getting dumbs for not liking it.
"My musical taste is fact!!1"
I don't like Pink Floyd at all personally.
