The Lord of the Rings episode was pretty funny.

I've never watched this show, I always thought it looked too stupid to live.

But I was bored so I watched the first clip...okay, so the girl is hot and doesn't mind showing it off...then that guy orders the diet coke, which was only mildly amusing because obviously everyone else is having mixed drinks. But then she makes him order a real drink, and he orders a coke mixed drink w/o alcohol, not bad that's kind of funny, sort of a battle of wills. But then when she tells him "That's rum and coke without the rum. So coke?" and he says "Yes...and would you make it diet?"= win!

If that is typical of the level of funny, I need to start watching it.

Is a bit like an American IT Crowd, tries to be clever and comical rather than cleverly comical. I wouldn't say it was terrible, some moments are entertaining and I like the Sheldon character, just think it is a bit... one dimensional. Every story has the same sort of jokes and similar occurrences.
