I suppose this thread is for posting songs by bands that you believe are extremely underrated and deserve more recognition. This song is by the Celtic rock band Runrig, these guys are extremely underrated and they've made some great music.
I might check those fellas out, which record is a good one to start with?

The Pineapple Thief [sp]Warning prog rock ahead. Enter at own risk.[/sp] These are some of my favourite songs by them: Preparation For Meltdown - Someone Here Is Missing My Debt To You - Tightly Unwound My Bleeding Hand - Tightly Unwound Wilting Violet - Little Man Vapour Trails - Variations on a Dream No One Leaves This Earth - Abducting the Unicorn Many have said they are a cross between Radiohead and Porcupine Tree. I think they stand out with their own sound. Their best album IMO is Tightly Unwound. Great variety and has some of their best tracks on it.

Not sure about 80kidz
Ten Tonne Dozer are the big local groove metal band. They've done a couple of small tours in Europe but that's it really. This is an old video, they have a new drummer now (been in the band since 2011). They're still putting out more and more new stuff as well. The singer, Dave, is one of the best guys I've ever met. lol good job quoting them
Vale of Pnath is just so fucking good. It's a shame The Prodigal Empire flew under the radar. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3T30jFWO0gU Deserters are pretty great; absolutely amazing to see live. Their vocalist gives them a unique sound that just really doesn't exist in modern metal/hardcore. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzfyioRoq0M
dystopia - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agjf_QK4I9o (some pretty good sludge/crust)
This. Also I think these.
pineapple thief are good but christ dude what is that like 8 embeds
Agreed not my best decision. I am on a pineapple thief binge and got all excited to share their music with people.
like I said in a previous thread: "very ahead of its time (world jazz and a little psychedelic folk blended together in 1963!)"

I've always liked Budgie, very good early 70's hard rock/proto metal. They tend to get overshadowed (at least here in the US, I've heard they are actually rather large in Poland) by bands like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, but their first 3-4 albums match a lot of their stuff in quality.
