The head of the Libyan rebel's armed forces and two of his aides were killed by gunmen on Thursday, though their bodies remain missing. Abdel Fattah Younes was killed after being summoned to the de facto rebel capital of Benghazi to appear before a judicial inquiry, opposition leader Mustafa Abdul Jalil announced at a press conference late on Thursday night. He told reporters that rebel security had arrested the head of the group behind the killing but had not found the dead men's bodies. Jalil's remarks Rebel security reportedly arrived at Younes's operations room near the rebels' eastern front and arrested him and his aides early on Thursday. Security officials said at the time that Younes was to be questioned about possible ties to Muammar Gaddafi's regime. Younes was Gaddafi's interior minister before defecting to the rebels early in the uprising, which began in February.
http://english.aljazeera.net/news/africa/2011/07/2011728202129941725.html http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-14338212 Here's hoping this doesn't deter the rebel advance.
The guy who rated winner doesn't seem to know this is a bad thing.
Here's hoping he's not one of those retards who's buying Gaddafi's imperial crusader bullshit
At least you know that with a rebellion like this, someone will be ready to take his place. It's just a shame this guy won't be able to see the free Libya he was fighting for.

Lazy bastard, he can't let something little like death stop him from commanding the army.
Its a bit suspicious that he gets off'd on the way to answer questions about possible connections with Gaddafi's regime.

A real shame Younes was killed, though.
Hitler, Stalin, Qaddafi, Mussolini, pretty much anyone who is a dictator and killed loads'a people I and many others have no problem with them being dealt with swiftly
You're not getting the point.
