Alisa Shevchenko is a talented young Russian hacker, known for working with companies to find vulnerabilities in their systems. She spends her winters in Asia, meditating and training in Thai kickboxing.
US officially accuses Russia of hacking DNC and interfering with election

She is also, the White House claims, guilty of helping Vladimir Putin interfere in the US election.
Her company was a surprise inclusion on the US sanctions list released last week, alongside top officers in Russia’s GRU military intelligence agency and two well-known criminal hackers. The company “provided the GRU with technical research and development”, according to the fact sheet released by the White House. No further details were given.
In addition to the sanctions, the US expelled 35 Russian diplomats from the country, and said it would take further, non-public measures in response.
After a week in which Russian interference in the election – apparently with the goal of helping Donald Trump to victory – has dominated the news agenda, Shevchenko has spoken out to decry the sanctions against her.
Shevchenko told the Guardian she was furious at her company’s inclusion on the list, and denied ever having knowingly worked for the Russian government. She communicated via encrypted email, from a location she said was “a wild countryside area a few hours away from Bangkok”.
In answers that were defiant, and occasionally abrasive, she decried the “insane level of hysteria around the entire ‘Russian hacking’ story”.

Here we goooo
obviously she would deny involvement because it's her entire career in jeopardy if she doesn't
obviously she would deny involvement because it's her entire career in jeopardy if she doesn't
Yeah, I gotta say "Person accused of crime denies involvement" has got to be the biggest "So what?" of a headline.
Yeah, I gotta say "Person accused of crime denies involvement" has got to be the biggest "So what?" of a headline.
Yeah but, "I never work with douchebags" thats a pretty good headline
she's certainly a cutie.

This is totally valuable input, nice contribution!
Yeah I have to agree with FFStudios, there is literally no other course of action for her.

It's kind of hard to judge when all the evidence is secret.
Would her career really be in jeopardy though if she was involved in it? It seems to me that "(successfully) interfered with another country's election" would look good on a hacker's resume. Then again, I'm pretty ignorant of this whole situation, and it would make sense for her to lose business because people don't want to be associated with a possible affiliate of the "Russian Hacking Debacle."

She's a legitimate, or white/grey hat hacker, which means she helps clients find security holes and the like in their systems. Regardless of what she claims to be, if she was looking for more work anywhere on the ethical spectrum, getting caught involved in a very high profile alleged hack like this doesn't make you look very good. You don't really hear about good black hat hackers in the news... at least ones who still have careers doing it.

This and 1/3 of all the intelligence agencies/governmental organizations in the world would have her in their sights.
Let us not forget that if she didn't 100% deny involvement she would also basically be implicating Russia/GRU in the hack by extension, which we can all guess wouldn't be good for her.

I mean...He's not wrong though.

SH is shitpost central, I fail to see something wrong with that one.

Even being accused of it will fuck her career up.
she's certainly a cutie.
I'd inject my code in her honeypot.

Russian women are known to be hot and/or cute in general, not just the ones employed by the government.
Can we stop sharing our Russian fetish here?
Anyways:
According to the article she said that she got buisness offers because of this.

Yes I did, nice defence.
Had nothing to do with the article anyway and was mainly me being sarcastic but your fetish for Russian women is obviously far superior.
Back on topic now?
Seems kind of unfair to instantly block her from her livelihood considering there isn't much evidence apart from that she supplied the GRU with R&D. I mean the US supplies moderate rebels with weapons and they always end up in the wrong hands. Slightly hypocritical

Damn. This girl sounds like an absolute badass.
