GAMES DEVELOPER Peter Molyneux's latest title has hit the Apple App store and is already captivating users.
Molyneux created some classic God games, including Populous, and Black & White. His latest game, Curiosity, is a puzzle, and it is a rather puzzling one.
Players are expected to chip away at a box to find out what is inside it. We do not know what that is, and it's up to the winner to tell us.
The game is something of an experiment. "Joining hopefully thousands of people on the journey to the centre of the cube is going to be a fascinating experiment that we will share with the world. Remember you could be the single person to find out what TRULY amazing thing lies in the centre," says publisher 22 Cans on its Facebook page.
"Thank you for sticking with us, it's been a couple of very stressful and fascinating weeks but the moment is finally upon us. What device will you be using to explore your curiosity?"
Device options, for now, are limited to the Apple farm, but an Android version will follow, we aren't sure when. The IOS release has come out a day early, and caught Molyneux by surprise.

Just looked at Curiosity stats its all going crazy. Messages, tapping 24million cubes destroyed in 4 hours. I NEED TO GET HOME!!!
There is so much to the game that it would probably be easiest to tell you what isn't involved. So, you aren't expected to hit people, steal cars, attack aliens, make words out of letter tiles, race helicopters or attack pigs.
We were about the 8,900th to play the game. We tapped away at the box and it yielded us some coins. Hitting a run of boxes will give you more coins, and tapping away, hitting boxes all the time seems to be the best way to play.
It's a community effort and a race to smash down the cubes. Players are working together on smashing them, but ultimately only one will win. For what it is, it was surprisingly enjoyable. You can connect with your friends on the cube, we didn't, and compare progress, we haven't.
According to Molyneux around 30 percent of the first layer has gone already. He is tweeting statistics as they come up with Wonka like fervour[/quote]

I cant get in on iOS but it's working fine on android, my cube looks like on the pic.

Search "curiosity" and then scroll far down, it's made by 22cans
