The San Francisco Chronicle reports that the woman, identified only as Erica J, had “hundreds” of the rodents in her room in a boarding facility.
Denise BonGiovanni from the city’s Department of Animal Care and Control told the paper that the rats in Erica’s apartment had “been there for some time” and there were concerns that many of them had escaped to the surrounding area.

Quest Updated: A Rat Problem

Arvena now believes that her neighbor, Quill-Weave, might be responsible. Arvena has seen her sneaking around outside her apartment at night. I should watch Quill-Weave and see what she's doing. I should not let Quill-Weave see me, though, lest she get suspicious.

I've seen Quill-Weave leaving doughnuts outside Arvena Thelas' apartment. This must be what is attracting the cops into the neighborhood and into Arvena's Apartment. I should confront Quill-Weave.

Quill-Weave tells me to "eat shit" and walks away.

All of the rats in Arvena Thelas' apartment are dead. I've failed my contract.

Arvena Thelas is now a vagrant with a literal rat pack, it would be best to avoid her from now on.
