Get hyped
Yes, I am well hyped.
This is going to be the entire game?

Every bit of content from Morrowind is remade, including, as far as I know, the Bloodmoon and Tribunal expansions.

Yeah, Bloodmoon and Tribunal are planned but are on a bit of a backburner. I know I've modelled at least one prop from Tribunal already.
Will this require morrowind like old Morrbolivion?
Will this require morrowind like old Morrbolivion?
Yes. Also Skyrim.
Apparently they're looking for more voice actors for it too. Quite a few FPer's would do quite well with that. I'm going to give it a shot too :v:

Well, I hope you have Excel.
Dat fucking soundtrack tho. Incredible!
Wow it looks like they've made a ton of progress
Glad it isn't going to be vapor ware

How do you pronounce a percent sign?
So damn happy this is progressing like it is. So many projects like this drop dead out the gate.
I swear the narrator sound quality got worse and worse over the course of the video.

percentuh
I think I'm going to try out as a nord.
I swear the narrator sound quality got worse and worse over the course of the video.
Yeah. Squally didn't have time for the narrator to re-record. It was apparently even worse before clean up by another team member though.

Finally I can play Morrowind.
Fuck yeah
I wish they could fix stuff like Skyrim's shitty shadows though, but regardless I am super hyped.
Skyrim had a severe lack of variety and interesting creatures, I can't wait to see and fight all this shit in the game.
That narrator sounds a little bit like Wes Johnson, the voice of male imperials.
I wanna be involved, but I don't think I have the capability haha
This is astounding and all, but, will there be cliff racers?

If they're making it as close to Morrowind as possible?
More than you can fucking imagine.
So, am I crazy for loving the combat in Morrowind? I mean, its not the most EXCITING, but its way better than the combat in Oblivion or Skyrim, from an RPG point of view at least. Its like rolling a die to determine whether or not your hit was effective, most people just get pissed off when they realize that they're able to miss something that is right in front of them. Well, when you suck with a weapon and you're 10 minutes into the game, you're not going to be godly effective with it, but your opponents were pretty non-threatening at first to balance this. And on top of that, when you got a flow going and you were decently leveled in Morrowind, it felt just as satisfying to fight something as it did in the later games.
But when it comes down to it, the reason I still love Morrowind is for the story that it told, and the stories that were buried deep inside of it, and so I will support any other median to them.
I don't mind the combat as much as other people do, but I prefer how starting out in daggerfall did it - your main combat skills were good enough that you could typically hit enemies consistently with the weaker attacks, but the stronger ones like diagonal slashes or overhead chops were extremely hard to score a hit with.
ofc since they took that system out it couldn't be done anymore, but I think it would have been a bit more enjoyable over missing all the time.
I do like the feeling of progression of it though even if I'd prefer it tweaked, i guess same as how I like how in vanilla STALKER starting weapons are inaccurate and hard to score consistent hits rather than just giving you the powerful stuff from the get go.
Let's hope this doesn't go the same way as tamriel rebuild.
I want to see skyrim on the morrowind engine
This was totally amazing. Wonder what they'll do to the player houses you get from being high ranked in Telvanni, Redoran or Hlaalu - Uvirith's Grave (Telvanni) was in the middle of nowhere, like a joke from the xenophobic Telvanni, but a mod (I think it was "building up Uvirith's Grave" made it pretty awesome in that it could essentially be grown into a full on town via quests, rather than the 3 stage progression in vanilla.

IIRC this is actually being worked on.
Hell yes. Another update video.
I've actually done a few voices for some characters for this mod, but as far as I know, the VA section was a disorganized mess, so they're basically redoing everything in that department, unfortunately. Still, I hope that I can have the credit for actually having my voice in this mod. It's unreal.
