Trump blasts SNL: 'It is a totally one-sided, biased show'
President-elect Donald Trump criticized "Saturday Night Live" early Sunday, accusing the show of bias.
"I watched parts of @nbcsnl Saturday Night Live last night," the president-elect tweeted. "It is a totally one-sided, biased show - nothing funny at all.
"Equal time for us?" he asked.
Alec Baldwin reprised his role as the president-elect during "SNL" this weekend for the first time since Trump secured a victory in the election.
In an opening skit focused on Trump's transition, the president-elect meets with a variety of officials including 2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney, who is rumored to be under consideration for secretary of State.
Trump has taken issue with "Saturday Night Live" in the past, before he was elected president.
In October, he called the show a "hit job," and said it was time to retire the "boring and unfunny show."
Trump also said Baldwin's portrayal of him in the show "stinks" and accused the media of trying to rig the election — a frequent allegation he made during his campaign.
Stop crying and deal with it, you fucking manchild.
I wonder if they've finished installing Donald's safe space into the White House yet.
He has every right not to like it, but whining about a comedy show poking fun at the president on social media is extremely childish-looking and unpresidental. This is going to be an embarrassing four years for the US.
Can't wait to watch the leader of the free world whine on social media about tv shows.

SNL has always been unfunny for the most part.
I wonder how many times in the next 4 years he's going to mention SNL, he can't stop talking about them

replace 'youtube' with 'youpak'
Hey Trump remember when you hosted SNL and said "There's a reason I'm on SNL and the other Republican candidates aren't, it's because I can take a joke"
What happened?
"Equal time for us"? Did he conveniently forget that he hosted an episode?
Oh, who am I kidding. It's Trump, of course he did.
You mean like this completely anti-right skit right trump?

They cut off the most important part from that sentence "...as long as it makes me look good".
Trump has never been able to take a fucking joke, he has roasts like every damn celebrity, but he never once cracks a smile during the fucking things. Despite every other celebrity doing so because a bit of self deprecation now and again can be good fun.

He probably didn't.
But he knows the brainwashed horde who support him won't investigate that one. Like they refuse to investigate his other bold "factual" claims.

The show's writer didn't write this tweet for him.
I wonder if this whole "Trump lashing out at things over Twitter" thing is gonna continue into his presidency
Does he not realize he can't talk like this when he's the President?
Is this a joke? Is it just acceptable now for the President to whine about everything on Twitter?
"I'm gonna work hard for all Americans, but look, your show just sucks, period."

he makes the best whiny tweets and knows the best whiny twitter accounts
Disclaimer: SNL is absolutely not funny. That said; how absolutely pathetic is it that the president of the United States is going to cry on Twitter about inane bullshit for the next 4 years.
Good thing he wants to "open up those libel laws" so that pesky "free speech" nonsense eventually won't be a problem anymore! :terrists:
Since when will we get the """Unbiased"" news act"?

When conservatives grasp comedy
Man, I don't like SNL either. But the President should at least have the forethought to not insult Americans when he's supposed to be doing slightly more important things?
Are we really going to go back to Donald "convulses on camera to imitate what he thinks retarded people look like" Trump? I really wanted to give the dude a fair shot, and it looked like maybe he was trying during the 60 Minutes interview, but ultimately he just falls back on the same stupid shit.

I lost hope the minute I heard about those brilliant cabinet pics of his. If he managed to get impeached and Pence gets into the Oval Office, things will only go further south from there.
Gotta love that the president who ran a campaign on tearing down political correctness and telling Americans to thicken up is the most insecure manchild on the planet.

"Take it in stride" is a concept that Trump doesn't seem to understand, which bodes well as the President tends to be the most criticized person in the entire world

Wonder if he's still sending pictures of his hands to that magazine?

I've given Trump more chances to redeem himself than any other politician. I'm giving up. He's going to be horrible, no question. Maybe he'll prove me wrong, but there's no more "wait and see before you start worrying". The only thing about Trump to wait-and-see about now is just how horrible he's going to be.
The people I'm giving a chance now are the Republicans, both in Congress and just the normal everyday people. If Congress blocks his worst plans, and if Republicans join the inevitable protests against his seemingly-inevitable attacks on democracy, they'll have proven themselves better than "the party that elected a wannabe fascist-dictator into office".
Imagine if Obama had a twitter meltdown every time fox news talked shit about him.
This is going to be an embarrassing term for you lot, going from a dude who only sparingly responded to people bashing him, and always with good natured witty quips- to a dude who posts ~fuck the haters~ tier rants on twitter like a 12 year old.
This is the kind of thing that made me wary of a Trump presidency. No matter how good his policies may sound, no matter the promises he makes, he is still at heart a thin-skinned, egocentric manchild who can't take a joke.

I've posted a lot about this because early on I thought his lack of self awareness/self control on twitter should have been the most obvious red flag as far as his ability to actually be President.
I mean we're talking about a guy who has a history of incessantly shitposting on twitter. He was provoked into making a personal attack on somebody as a result of one of the debates. This behavior would instantly trash any other candidate's reputation.
Is he going to stop doing this if he gets elected?
Why not just stop doing it now when it clearly does nothing but make him look bad?
How can a guy who's running for POTUS not do something as simple as not post dumb shit on twitter?
Why can't any of his campaign staff get him to?
I don't know what you guys are talking about. I think SNL in its current form is great.
SNL hasn't been funny since the Farley/Sandler/Spade era. But they're nailing the Trump stuff
