Note: Razer Chroma is opening up to third-party hardware as well which is actually pretty fucking cool
Triple display laptop? Fucking really?
that's pretty cool I guess
as long as the screens are well attached and the thing is powerful enough
could be worth for some niche audiences
I can't imagine either of these being very good. Not only that, but if you're gonna turn your busy wall into a projector, why would you ever consider sitting so close? That's madness. It looks headache inducing.
Also, "saviors of PC gaming"? The fuck.
Do you need to have the monitors deployed to use it at all?
edit: nope, good that sounds fucking inconvenient

That may have been a facetious remark, buddy.
Imagine busting out one of those laptops in class.
Three monitors on a laptop at 4k resolution each and playing video games? Hah. I can guarantee one thing, and it's that it WILL overheat and quick.
Um the 3 screens thing just make me think its going to break
Razer are either dumb as fuck or beautifully self-aware, and I'm thinking it's the latter judging by black tshirt hardcore man

Can't wait for that silky smooth slideshow gaming

Well its automated as well so at least it would look cool when you unfold it
The laptop seems a little silly but honestly if the processing is good on the projector thing, I could see it being a nice immersion boost. However, I doubt a lot of games would support it, putting it into a similar category as the Novint Falcon.

After probably spending 7000 euro on the laptop

I'm just imagining the audible hissing of hydraulics as it slowly unveils.
Alternatively, it snaps open instantly, and knocks over the laptops of the people next to you
Who the fuck needs triple 4K on a goddamn LAPTOP?

I'd imagine it'd be a smooth whine from a set of electric motors.
Followed by an audible eyeroll from everyone else in the room.

Only a true gamer
Razer being ridiculous as always.

Now imagine the lights below the monitoring giving a entire light show as it expands, and to add to that you are in a dark college room :v:

Truly the heroes we deserve.
I wonder how they're going to squeeze more than half an hour of battery life out of that laptop.
Oh my god I have a new FB-wallpaper or whatever it's in english.
That laptop is fucking ridiculous.
the laptop isn't really being aimed to be a released product, it's a prototype. It's honestly far more likely that if they were to release something like it it would be detachable thunderbolt 3 displays.
A laptop with 3 displays isn't that bad of an idea. I can see how it'd be amazing for on the go programming or other types of work.
Can't wait for the first photo to hit Instagram with some dorky looking guy with this laptop set up playing Skyrim at McDonald's.

It'd badly have to have a power saving option though if you're going to use it for mundane tasks. 3 4k screens must eat power like nobodies business.
Also, these things are electronic so what if the power fails or fails mid-way while either collapsing or folding
this is either going to have 15 minutes of battery life or is going to run as hot as a miniature nuclear power plant
Ariana reminds me of AmBX only with actual projections instead of lighting and fans.
