• Recommend me a vape.

I'm trying to finally kick smoking for good, and the best thing that helped me last time was a vape. Unfortunately it was a rather cheap one that started leaking and just overall falling apart. Anyone have any suggestions? 90% of what I can find online is just vapes for pot or wax, I want ones for actual liquid. I'd like to not spend more than $100, but $150 is doable if necessary. I apologize if this is in the wrong section, I've never made a thread outside of H&S. Just seemed like it fit here best according to the rules.
an unregulated box mod is the way to go, just make sure the design has fuses
an unregulated box mod is the way to go, just make sure the design has fuses
Could you share any additional info or links on this? [editline]17th March 2015[/editline] Also another thing worth noting is that I need it to kick like a mule. The feeling is what's hardest to give up, and over the last 6 years I've been smoking mostly unfiltered cigarettes.
they're dead simple and can be built for under $30 (or can be had for $40-50 on ebay, but you might have to stick some fuses in it to keep it from blowing up in your face), all you have to get is an atomizer and some juice. [editline]17th March 2015[/editline] of course if you're trying to kick nicotine, one that's a pain in the ass might be the way to go. get a couple disposable ecigs so you straight up don't enjoy it to a point where you only care to use it when you've absolutely got to get your fix
Looking good. I'll definitely have to keep that in mind. Anyone have any other recommendations?

Anyone have any other recommendations?
If you want something simple for a new user that isn't going to crack or fall apart, I can recommend the Kanger EVOD. 40 bucks for a starter pack, comes with a couple extra coils in case they burn out, an extra battery so you can have on charging so it's ready for the other one, etc. I'm not huge into vaping and I don't plan to get a giant box vape with customized shit, but I really like the EVOD. The container for the liquid is surrounded by a thick plastic with small indented slits so you can see the level of liquid left, meaning that shit won't crack easily. It's durable, looks good, cheap, and works well enough for the average person.

I think I'm going to order the eGo ONE XL. It looks pretty nice, and I'll order some liquids with it.
I'm buying a Dark Horse RDA probably today. I'll let you guys know what it's like!
Personally not a big fan of eGo products, how ever it depends on your budget, and what it is exactly that you want.
Why aren't you a fan?
I've been dabbling with vaping since 2011 and quit smoking in 2013 switching cold turkey to a vape. I've used all sorts of different devices and tanks/clearomizers and recently RBAs. eGo devices are fine for beginners as they're simple to use and nicer ones have variable volts/watts. The problem is that they stop being effective once you want to move away from cheap tanks/clearomizers, they simply don't put out enough current. I had an iTaste MVP2 for a while that worked well but it only put out up to 11w at 3 amps, meaning i was very limited in what i could build as far as coils, had to buy 30ga wire just for it to work ok with my Kayfun 3.1. I bought an eleaf iStick 30W and now run a kayfun 4 clone and i can build pretty much whatever and make it work. Only you know what you like and don't like, and if you are happy with a basic eGo kit then more power to you. If you want to go deeper into vaping enthusiast territory check out a box mod like the istick and a few RBAs. But don't throw out your cheap stuff til youve got it down :v: btw I'd start at 16mg nic or less, shit gets brutal at 18+ imo. And i find less PG to taste and hit better. Mt Baker Vapor has really good prices and lets you customize how your juice is mixed, but it's mixed fresh so its best to let it sit or 'steep' for a few days.
I just bought this, it's a great vape - uses an atomizer and has a 1.5ml tank. kangertech pro tank mini 3 (for the e-liquid) kangertech evod v v (this is the modulator. v v means variable voltage) kangertech have great reviews so for reliability and value, they are a good choice. I also bought 3 bottles of e liquid and altogether it set me back £25
