The officers were suspended from work after the incident but were later told they had no case to answer, with the Prison Officers Association insisting that only approved restraint techniques had been used. The Ministry of Justice said it would robustly defend the compensation claim, which could be as much as £20,000, according to reports. ... The MoJ said it had successfully defended two-thirds of prisoner claims over the past three years.
http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/dec/10/lee-rigby-killer-michael-adebolajo-sues-prison-service-after-having-teeth-knocked-out On 1 hand his teeth probably shouldn't have been knocked out, on the other hand the guy is a total cunt and is probably just doing it to waste time/resources and annoy people.
On 1 hand his teeth probably shouldn't have been knocked out
Accidents happen. Besides, the prison officers were cleared of any wrongdoing.
Accidents happen. Besides, the prison officers were cleared of any wrongdoing.
then hopefully he will be in the 2/3s of cases which get thrown out.
Oh no, what a pity.
I'm surprised he isn't dead by the hands of other prisoners yet.
If you applied the law of retaliation he would of lost a lot more than his teeth
lmao dont give them him anything
Fucking hell, imagine being in prison for beheading a soldier. I think I'd rather be a paedophile in a bar full of bikers.
if this was a situation of somebody who was arrested on some robbery or something else not really major, i guess it would be right to sue the prison guards for being too rough. But when you behead a soldier, yeah you deserve to get your face kicked in.

However, the prison officers weren't too rough, so he won't get anything.
he should feel lucky he only had his teeth kicked in, im sure i read somewhere the other guy was being raped daily and was taken somewhere else for resulting health problem
he should feel lucky he only had his teeth kicked in, im sure i read somewhere the other guy was being raped daily and was taken somewhere else for resulting health problem
He's probably kept separate from other prisoners (to protect his life and maybe to stop him trying to radicalise other prisoners). It was the guards who broke his teeth while restraining him.
Here is an idea, don't fucking kill someone you degenerate. Maybe you will not get your teeth kicked in.
A grab for publicity, ignore his cash demands and just replace the teeth that were knocked out so the media can forget about him again. He's just trying to make himself look like a victim, push his agenda and get some cash (which will probably go straight to other fanatics anyway).
This just in: it's okay for prisoners to be abused because they are criminals
This just in: it's okay for prisoners to be abused because they are criminals
This guy deserves more than a kick to the teeth.

[editline]10th December 2015[/editline]
This guy deserves more than a kick to the teeth.
I think you need to stop using "he deserves it" as a lazy excuse.
This guy deserves more than a kick to the teeth.
As fucked as these people are, OK'ing someone's teeth being knocked out just because they are in prison doesn't make you much better than them. Also doesn't make them any better people once their time is up.
This just in: it's okay for prisoners to be abused because they are criminals
Holy shit imagine your country if it happened to one of your fucking veterans Moral police these days are amock!
It's what he's in prison for, I imagine your thoughts would be different if this man had killed a Canadian soldier in your area for no reason and done so brutally and disgustingly.
I don't give a fuck who he killed, a soldier, some random homeless person, a kid, the Queen. Why should we care? He murdered a person, that's the only thing that matters. Adjusting the sentence of a murderer because "omg he r kill the soldur!" is fucking retarded, thinking a person who killed a soldier deserves to get the shit knocked out of them whilst already imprisoned is retarded. He's no different from any other murderer once he's in those cells. He should still be treated acceptably, we're meant to be better people than criminals right? Even if the claim turns out to be bogus, it should still be investigated properly.
Holy shit imagine your country if it happened to one of your fucking veterans Moral police these days are amock!
It should be up to the court to decide the punishment, not a random guard.
It's what he's in prison for, I imagine your thoughts would be different if this man had killed a Canadian soldier in your area for no reason and done so brutally and disgustingly.
No, I would still have been annoyed by people thinking that it's fine for the dude to get knocked around. Of course, I'm not Canadian, but if this happened to an American soldier, I would feel the same way, anyway.

You have to admit that this guy is more of a dick than a weed dealer though? It's unsurprising that this offender's particular actions draw a lot of attention to him for being notoriously 'traitorous' -as it seemed more as an attack on the country, by the nation as a whole, when you attack a member of the armed forces and especially in such a manner contradictory to every British person's values. This cannot be excused by, he was hungry he felt as though he needed to commit robbery. Personally, fuck this guy, I'm sorry man. He shouldn't be killed for his actions, but I don't care if he got his teeth kicked in.
Personally, fuck this guy, I'm sorry man. He shouldn't be killed for his actions, but I don't care if he got his teeth kicked in.
Handwaving the abuse of prisoners because "fuck that guy he's a certain level of asshole" is not a good mindset to have. It's the kind of shit that lets abuse become systemic in the prison system, something we really, really don't need if we want to keep re-offending rates down. If prison guards are going to let their emotions get the better of them and stop thinking because "umg he r kill hero" then they shouldn't be employed as guards. They are in a position of power, abusing it no matter how much they dislike a certain prisoner is not a good thing. I don't particularly care for the guy myself, the murder was pretty fucking brutal. But I do care about our prison system not turning into America 2.0.
It's what he's in prison for, I imagine your thoughts would be different if this man had killed a Canadian soldier in your area for no reason and done so brutally and disgustingly.
Not really. We had a similar incident last year but while he ended up being gunned down I still didn't wish upon him to be hung from a hook and beaten about for a while with a baseball bat just because he gunned a soldier down and wreaked havoc in Ottawa.
This just in: it's okay for prisoners to be abused because they are criminals
as far as i'm concerned, human rights applies to those that can actually act like human beings, murder is such a case of no longer being classed as a human being in my mind, but more like a savage.
as far as i'm concerned, human rights applies to those that can actually act like human beings, murder is such a case of no longer being classed as a human being in my mind, but more like a savage.
Well, I'm pretty sure human beings are damn well capable of doing anything crazy and being insane as hell, so that arbitrary condition you use to determine who's human is pretty silly. [editline]10th December 2015[/editline] Also, why should it matter if they're human or not in the first place, anyway?
Replace the missing teeth and let the media focus on him die down. He's hardly going to have any use for the money and I'm sure it'll be a metaphorical 'fuck you' to this guy if we just resolved the issue with a stiff upper lip.

Yes, both crimes are deplorable due to the loss of human life, but come on man. You can't seriously believe that the status of the person killed should have absolutely ZERO relevance.
