haha neckbeards are so lame see? I'm not a neckbeard I SWEAR
That wasn't addressed anywhere in the video?
"Let's all go watch Cowboy Bebop" this is basically the solution for everything [editline]15th April 2015[/editline] I accidentally viewed the comments my eyes are crying blood
The Cowboy Bebop part is on-par :v:
I'm surprised they didn't use Akira's bike scene.
I'm surprised they didn't use Akira's bike scene.
That's about as specific as Star Wars' spaceship scene.
Oh hey, the two main characters on the couch are literally the kid from FLCL and the alcoholic chick from EVA. I feel the neckbeard growing. It is a good pain.
Nothing says "Anime fandom" like a chubby misty.

It is a good pain.
ACTUALLY, that's the class president from FLCL, not the alcoholic chick from EVA, you baka gaijin Though I thought it was the EVA chick at first too. The only characters I didn't recognize were the blue haired chick and the second group of girls they showed on the tablet. And I guess the fat guy as a young kid but that's not a chick so who cares
To be fair, the UC timeline is the best timeline.
Kill la Kill is deeper than girls in thongs omg
Those "butthurt anime fans", they say that others "don't understand the culture" as in the video. I don't think they themselves understand the culture.
I watched Kill la Kill and loved the absolute complete and utter shameless over the top nonsense that show kept pulling. Seriously, I'm not into anime, but some guy showed me Gamagoras (or whatever that human giant name was) badass intro and theme, and then I just had to watch more. But yeah, it's total fanservice. Cowboy B is where it's really at. Watch it, it's unlike anythong you have seven.

My memory isn't that good but I swear anime on the internet used to be this kind of guilty pleasure weird niche shit that only appealed to kids and a small percentage of older people on the internet and it kind of had it's own small pocket on the internet to frolic on. Now all of it's social stigma that it previously had has been completely removed. I kind of liked it's influence filtered away from the places I go on the internet, but eh fuck it I don't care anymore.

these parodies are always so 90s/early 2000s
Isn't anime used as a term for all forms of animation in Japan? Because if it is, then Avatar and King of the Hill are animes for them then.
Isn't anime used as a term for all forms of animation in Japan? Because if it is, then Avatar and King of the Hill are animes for them then.
Can confirm, we almost never use the term "cartoon" (although we do have Cartoon Network, which is called the same way it is in other countries). Of course, it doesn't make sense in a non-Japanese context.
