According to a report by Bit by Bit Gaming on April 29, the developer now owns the license to create titles based on the “Warhammer 40,000” brand. The first game will apparently feature the same third-person shooter elements as “Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine,” which came out for multiple platforms on Sept. 6, 2011.
heresy
oh god
Great, more series getting half baked sequels.
This has the potential to be really, really good. But I'm worried about how they'd handle the combat - it should be a lot more visceral than Mass Effect, for starters...
bull shit *cough*

Oh god gay space marines please don't do it
hasn't games workshop learned that EA can't be trusted with their license?
RIP.
Story written by Hamburger Hepler!
not sure how I feel about this
I'm so ready for same gay ass space marines travelling the universe, dealing with their gayness together, good i feel like it's really fitting and what needs to happen to WH40K. Please god no don't sandwhich in things that don't fit please
as long as it's at least as good as space marine i'll be happy
This shit has been getting spammed around 4chan for the last few days, I seriously doubt the validity of these claims. I mean seriously, this "Bit by Bit Gaming" website has only existed since January and is just some random guy's blogspot account.
Not a Warhammer fan, but I feel bad for you guys.
Oh yessss some spacemarine on ork action [sp]in bed[/sp].
Man. This is pretty bad. Bioware has been pretty fucking terrible since 2009
Oh yessss some spacemarine on ork action [sp]in bed[/sp].
Why does it have to be in bed? :v:
I now demand complex moral choices such as deciding to curb-stomp an ork or fill its torso with explosive bolter rounds; and I want to be able to have gay romance/sex with my fellow marines. Those muscled necks built like tree trunks make me harder than a dreadnought's armor plating.
Brothers! We are not bound together in blood! We are bound together... in bed!
Well..there's the potential of something good coming out, Bioware can do it. But there's also the chance of shaming the brand with a horrible game.

God fucking damn it.
So, am I the only one that is expecting something good to come out of this?
The Pretty Marines will become a reality
Cautiously optimistic. this could go really well if bioware- make an Inquisitor rpg. Keep the story and characters within the tone of 40k. Dont fucking try anything romance related. At least try to find voice actors who sound like they belong in warhammer 40k. ...... [sp] we're doomed [/sp]
Bioware hasn't really done anything wrong except having some pretty awful writing in some portions of their games, like the romances and ending of ME3, and parts of Dragon Age. Since Warhammer is already a concrete universe with preexisting characters, they don't have to write up an entire universe themselves. Plus, they'll already have a lot of resources already around to work with. I hope for the best. Also I can't wait for the abhorrently unfunny "hurr heresy" jokes in this thread.
ANGRY MARINES!!! GET READY TO RAGE!!!
