Deep Silver presents Video Game 2: The Fighting of Mans
To say the last games story was as bland as a carrot would be an insult carrots.
you know your video game is generic when the narrator of your trailer says "we got a few tricks up our sleeves" and the trailer shows "tricks" from games from last generation like damn you really couldn't use footage better than an RC bomb and a "press a button to explode car" for that line?

To be fair to them the gameplay they showed a while ago showed some promise, but if that's literally all they had to show that was good then game is gonna flop hard.
ay mane as long as its still decriminalized i dont care bout no lil ho chi momma comin an takin philly it cant get much worse out here ynimean?
Just because Battlefield 3 didn't have any rear iron sights in its trailer doesn't mean it's cool, stop doing that, videogames
is it just me or has every shooter videogame plot recently been "theres these evil dudes oppressing the population and fucking everything up but don't worry cause your from the REVOLUTION!!"
To say the last games story was as bland as a carrot would be an insult carrots.
I dunno, I'll take anything that has a US occupied by foreign forces any day. It's a really cool setting and it's so rarely used.

It felt somehow cozy by all those barricaded huge concrete walls with barbed wires around. All taken over, captured by KPA's. So, basically, i look forward to this game.
We need Freedom Fighters 2.
When are we finally getting the game/movie about China invading the United States? It's what everyone would do if it didn't mean missing out on the Chinese market. Anyway, this game looks like a typical shooter and doesn't offer anything new.
We need Freedom Fighters 2.
This seems like as close to that as you're probably gonna get. I would imagine if FF2 existed it probably would have also gone open world.
Honestly i liked Homefront, it had it's moments, but this looks like some some shitty cod-based machinima or something.
Can't we for once play a manshooter on the side of the evil empire and win? [editline]12th January 2016[/editline] Medal of honor and modern warfare doesn't count. [editline]12th January 2016[/editline] Because america isn't an evil empire, it's chaotic good.
Can't we for once play a manshooter on the side of the evil empire and win?
It's called [sp]Killzone[/sp] [sp]Helghast did nothing wrong[/sp]
Honestly i liked Homefront, it had it's moments, but this looks like some some shitty cod-based machinima or something.
You can't possibly be saying that this looks worse than the original Homefront. That's just crazy talk. And I'm not talking about the graphics. [editline]12th January 2016[/editline] And what the fuck does that even mean? A game trailer looks like a machinima. Okay yeah, that's basically what it is. No shit?
Lmao the area controlled by the North Koreans is called "The Yellow Zone"
I remember back when it was Crytek making this, it looked okay, interesting even. It looked like a game that wanted you to be the guerrilla war fighters and it might have pulled that off. I don't know if I see that same potential here.

Making the invaders the North Koreans is a colossal copout but i'm interested to finally see a big videogame in philly after all this time

Who asked for this?
This looks like the exact same thing.
I guess but something about it looks off to me. I was excited about the Crytek one, but this doesn't make even interested. maybe times change I guess
"The Gang Joins the Revolution"
so uh, As a Philadelphian, I can safely say this version of Philadelphia looks much safer than it actually is right now. still buying it cuz philly
Hopefully this game will take longer to beat than the original. It was only like 6 hours or so and it was kinda disappointing in that regard. This looks interesting though.
I guess but something about it looks off to me. This is like the first time Philly has been used as a setting in a video game ever, may have to check it out for that reason alone
