Although no specific details have been released regarding the complications of the accident, which occurred in prior months, a statement from Williams family was published by Busta Rhymes on the hiphop site nahright.com. “Although he had under gone 2 surgeries with great success, was released to an inpatient physical therapy facility and was in great spirits the past few days. This morning he started to have complications and passed. The family asks for privacy at this time.” Williams was 37.
The X-Ecutioners were the main reason I decided to learn to scratch, so this is the first celebrity death this year that actually made me feel bad. He had a prominent appearance in the documentary Scratch (my favorite movie) which is freely available to watch on YouTube. If anyone has an hour and a half to spare and is interested I recommend the movie, it's really fantastic. Scratch RIP, hero :(
Wow, THE Grandmaster Roc Raida. That's crazy. He's a legend.
oh no :(
Absolutely horrible. Imagine to live on a few days after being released then suddenly get worse and die like this. My condolences to the friends and family. :(
I just watched all of Scratch. Incredible movie.
Aw fuck, that sucks. X-Ecutioners are really good too. My brother's a DJ, I wonder how he'll take it.
He was so fucking awesome. He will be greatly missed.
