The study reveals Britons have an overwhelmingly negative view of the divisive US president, who in the fortnight since his inauguration has signed a string of executive orders imposing draconian immigration measures, professed to backing torture and rowed publicly with the leaders of Mexico, Iran and Australia. In addition to the 64% who believe he represents a threat to international stability, the words most commonly associated by Britons with the divisive US president are dangerous (50%), unstable (39%), and bigot (35%). A further 56% believe he is untrustworthy. It also reveals that more than four in 10 people (44%) believe Trump will be an awful president, with a further one in ten believing he will be below average. A mere 6% believe Trump will be a great president.
In case anyone was wondering how trump is viewed internationally.
Where exactly are the survey sample size numbers, because all I see are percentages with no context. EDIT: My mistake, it was at the bottom, 2005 seems an awfully small number for such a survey.
2005 seems an awfully small number for such a survey.
it's not

Eg there might be a piece of news where a survey of 1,000 people suggested x, but then you'll inevitably get several posters whinging about how the sample size was too small and so the survey should be ignored, even though 1,000 respondents can create an incredibly accurate survey: If it were a bannable offence, then hopefully less threads would be derailed by people who have no idea about how statistics work. It's perfectly fine to question survey methodology, but questioning the sample size is moronic 99% of the time.
Why should it be bannable? That stance is ridiculous. Educate people on it instead. For every time you explain it, at least one person would be better off. If you don't want to do that, don't reply. Simple. No need to be on your high horse. Christ.

It stops people from discussing the topic and instead has people discussing asinine things like this.

(And I like it that way)
I was unaware of that survey, but I wish I was. 'cause Trump is such a dangerous cunt, he wouldn't be out of place in a brothel staffed by giant black widow spiders.
No, it's really very large, 1k is a reasonable sample size for a survey of the entire US and that's 6X the population of the British isles.
once you get past 2000 people you get diminishing returns for accuracy.
