How efficient are vaporizers? - General

I've read different studies claiming more or less efficiency than just smoking a fucking bowl and I want to know. I'm super down for the whole smokeless thing, I'd really like to pick up an iolite, but if I could spend $25 on a little hide-a-pipe and have to deal with a bit more stink and a bit more smoke for a bit more efficient THC delivery I'll take it. $250 cause I'm fucking going big or going home and getting an iolite which from every single review or whatever I've read as well as recommendations from people at the New Amsterdam and other headshops in Van sounds far and away the best portable vape you can get. And yeah I was planning on using my vaped weed to make cannabutter eventually. And the company that makes Volcanos suggests vaping a bowl 2-6 times to get the most THC.

Really depends on the vape you get. I have an Easy Vape (Pretty sure that's it's full name) and unless you dial it in perfectly you are either going to burn your shit or not vaporize any of the THC. Vapes can get you pretty wrecked depending on how hard you take hits and how good the vape is. I don't use mine frequently because I don't think it works too well but that's just me.

FYI you can get an iolite for much cheaper than $250 online

Get an MFLB. If you don't care about portability or the lower price, or the stealthiness of the MFLB then you [b]still[/b] shouldn't get the iolite because it's butane and not electric. Alright well I fell for the hype I guess and bought an iolite. It's butane but it doesn't burn the butane and the chamber is seperate so you never inhale gas. Honestly think I might prefer this to batteries. Cheaper by far, no charging/cords or whatever. anyways I've filled it and I think I'm gonna try this fucker out. be here to read my stoned review.

maybe you have a shitty vape. woah man. vaped a pretty mid sized bowl. kinda got confused about how it turns off cause a) mega stoned and b) i'm at work so I didn't want to take it inside still it stopped shitting out excess vapor every five seconds also I'm kind of confused about how long you should wait after you turn it on before you start toking, and does it just stop vaping weed entirely if you stop toking? Like can you just stop toking at any time and be able to start again later? Uh the bulb ones aren't too great apparently. They vaporize it at too high a temperature or something, I dunno. I've just heard bad stuff. I've heard good shit about like, the silver surfer, but I dunno how mch that is. Find one that passes hot air through the weed instead of directly heating it

I had one of those globe ones, in the center where you load the weed, it melted because the thing overheated. Now obviously I could have noticed it being warped, but it still shouldn't have gotten that hot.

Dunno about resin, but it definitely doesn't taste good. Pretty harsh to smoke, too, but gives a nice, relaxing high.

Iolites are pretty shitty portables. I bought an Extreme-q for home use and a magic flight launch box for on the go. Both extremely good vapes that don't run off butane

uhh not sure what the hate against butane is for. I don't have much experience but pretty much every headshop/headshop worker in Vancouver really highly recommends the iolite and it's really hard to find poor reviews of it. the butane powers a [i]flameless[/i] heater and no gas leaks into the breathing chamber. [editline]23rd January 2011[/editline] I dunno it's just made so fucking well and it works so fucking consistently I can't imagine that you could improve too much. Volcanos are only nicer because you can control the temperature for different substances whereas the iolite is set at 190 C which is ideal for weed but a little hot for tobacco etc., and also with Volcanos you get the balloon which cools the smoke to the point you can't even feel it and you can vape huge bowls.

I've always wanted a vape but the price always scares me off. I heard the cheaper ones aren't even worth bothering with, so I'll probably just give up.
