I think Turkey made it perfectly clear that they weren't going to put up with Syria's shit.
So now Russia comes to Syria's aid, engages in a full naval invasion of the Bosporus, and WW3 happens.

They've done this before. They were legally within their right to do what they did, there will be no repercussions unless they're from Syria.

The thing is if pilot lands on Turkey he survives, if he lands on Syria he'll get killed which is why civil war is bad
