A friend of mine bowled a 900 series, only the 34th sanctioned 900 series in the history of bowling

For those of you that don't know, bowling a 900 series is akin to pitching a perfect game in baseball in that only 34 sanctioned 900 series have ever been recorded. A 900 series is a 3-game bowling set in which all 3 games are perfect 300 games, so essentially it is throwing 36 consecutive strikes. I myself have been bowling for upwards of 30 years and I can tell you that it is an absurd accomplishment.
So on Monday night, October 16th, in East Islip Lanes (in Long Island, New York), a friend of mine did the unthinkable and accomplished bowling immortality by bowling a perfect 900 series. It should be noted that this guy averages upwards of 240 and has come close to bowling a 900 three other times, but was never able to finish it. Here's the video of it:

And here's Fox 5 News New York covering the story:

And here's a clip of a NY Newsday article about it:

Heh, that's where I learned to bowl while in catholic school. Got a participation trophy, almost as impressive as this.
Dudes ball says "Hustle", and boy does he sure fuckin' hustle. It probably helps that he owns the pro shop at that bowling alley huh?

The name of the ball is Hustle. Bowling ball manufacturers name their equipment.
Do people ever keep going? Like could he try to get 1200?
