I am surprised that the survivor is a survivor if what you say is true, and his voice box really did get shot out.

For a moment I thought the title meant 2 out of every 3 highshoolers were killed somewhere But this is still pretty bad... Although they were probably part of a gang or something

It was likely if the person hadn't died they would have just done it to someone else; never mind it's likely they would escalate their crimes. Perhaps this is harsh, but that person dying was probably best for society. I'm not particularly happy, but I would think their future victims would be.

Also it isnt logic at all, its the truth. They paid a price for what they did, and it doesnt matter whether anyone thinks they deserved it or not because it still happened and that isnt going to change.
