Even though I cannot afford to play World of Warcraft anymore or care to invest all the time in it to be successful, I do appreciate seeing videos like this moving the story forward.
I just wish Blizzard would make a web series or movie based on the lore, I sure as hell would enjoy it.
Ohh wow he has the same voice as Tosh, amazing voice.
Cool video, too bad it was the most pointless expansion. The item level isnt even higher then the first set of raids. I honestly did not leave Orgrimmar or had a point to leave Orgrimmar in months of playing.
Good bye WoW, I won't miss you.
I liked how the video was made ingame. Really made me want a Warcraft 4. :buddy:
Then again... That will never happen :smith:
I have never played WoW.
There, I said it.

You're not missing much.

:bandwagon:
The first time i played World of Warcraft was fucking amazing. When i had no idea what to do... Exploring the huge world with a friend... The freedom you had... The feeling when you got a really badass looking piece of equipment... :allears:
Oh boy it was amazing. Haven't played in about 3 years tho, don't know if it's still the same, but i had a blast the first time.
WoW is fun until you're level 20, then you realize it's the same shit, different level

Try the trial. I did, I can safely assume it sucks unless you're a mouth breathing neckbeard who gets a stiffy for micromanagement and repetitive tasks.

Then you get to endgame.
There's only really one good quest chain in World of Warcraft.

What? It's after 20 it becomes fun.
Then you reach full level then it's not fun. Because then all that's left is doing quests for no reason or just raid raid raid raid PVP PVP PVP PVP.
At least questing is fun and "meaningful".
PvP: The sport of men.

Naw, it not that fun even after 20. It gets a bit better but every area is fucking empty because everyone is at the end game content.

Opposite for me, I was having a great time and then about level 22 I just realized, well, it's the same thing. Mine for money, get better equipment, do a harder quest, repeat until level 85 then PVP.

Well that's now I guess.
Especially since you can go from level 0 to 70 and even beyond in just a couple of days if you go in for it.
Pathetic really.

Opposite for me, I was having a boring time walking around with hardly any stuff and then about level 20 I just realized, well, it's the same thing, but I can soon ride mounts, do lots of shit and discover more interesting areas. Mine for money, get better items for your skills (equipment is gained from quests), do gradually harder quest, repeat until level 85 (80 in my case) then quit game.
I wish I could have that same feeling of when I first started playing, without getting addicted again.
WoW is fun until you hit endgame then it's just the same shit.

I wish I could have that same feeling of when I first started playing anything, always.

like STALKER
WoW was the single greatest game in the world. At first.
Now it's all about NUMBERS.
In pre-tbc I went PvPing because I fucking hated those alliance maggots. I wanted to kill them so bad.
Now we all pvp for honor points and conquest points.
In pre-tbc I join a guild to have fun, doing random events that aren't even officially supported by blizzard. Like raiding goldshire or even cities.
Now we join a guild because it's level 25 and gives you all these great bonuses and you can raid with them. But you probably don't know what sort of person the main tank is for example.
In pre-tbc I based my choices of what gear to use mainly on looks. How good it looked.
Now it's what stats I need to stack up to do at least 10k of DPS in heroic farming.

Go play on an RP realm if that bothers you. The rest are about fighting. Fighting is about doing damage. And what do you need to do a lot of damage?

Why would you be thinking of any time other than now?
Why would you be thinking of any time other than now?
Because it's an unwritten rule that everything was better in the old days.
Why would you be thinking of any time other than now?
Because I forgot it's already been 7/6 (depending on USA/EU) years.
All of my friends have started playing WoW again, I wouldnt mind but they're trying to get me to play again too.

Bull. WoW has only gotten better for the people who liked it. It has always sucked for me and the first time I played it I could barley stand it. There was nothing appealing about the game at all. That is, if you already had your MMO cherry popped, otherwise your first MMO usually always rocks.
You probably started playing the game and loved it (was probably your first or second mmo), then like every normal person, realized its about numbers and time spent which made the game seem very flat and boring.
I honestly see all the people who are fatally addicted to WoW as somewhat broken people. I've tried quite a few MMOs, even hosted a private server on some of them, but I could never play the game myself for more than a month. The people who somehow come back like its their second life or something have issues. I know some of them personally and they know they have issues. But then again, I'm an advocate of escapism so who the hell am I bashing?
Only new aged MMOs are worth trying, those that dare to be different like Age of Conan which I played for a good half year. Was a great concept but the company behind it for some reason couldn't get the game balanced and with enough content to make it a quality game.
This just reminds me that there won't be a Warcraft 4 :frown:

So like most games?
