I love Nigel and UKIP, but I hope this doesn't make him sell his soul. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/nigel-farage-and-rupert-murdoch-britains-biggest-eurosceptic-and-its-most-powerful-media-mogul-have-private-meeting-9715073.html
According to Breitbart London, the meeting of minds came after Mr Farage finished up recording his appearance on Fox’s Sean Hannity and Neil Cavuto shows, within the News Corp building in Manhattan. In a sequence of events that has been confirmed to The Independent by a Ukip spokesman, Mr Cavuto, during an ad break, leant in to Mr Farage and said “Sir… The boss wants to see you. The big boss”. Mr Farage then went upstairs to chat with Fox’s owner, Mr Murdoch – a press baron previously credited with helping to sway elections by throwing the weight of his media empire behind his chosen political party. Confirming the meeting, a Ukip spokesman said: “Yes, it did take place and it was a purely private conversation between the two.” It wasn't their first, either, as their relationship dates as far back as March 2013, when Mr Murdoch invited Mr Farage to his flat for dinner. Afterwards, Mr Farage told the BBC that he thought the tycoon was a "remarkable bloke" that had also been "interested" in finding out what Ukip was all about. Their liaison comes as Ukip receives Tory defector Douglas Carswell, whose resignation triggered a by-election in the seat of Clacton and who is expected to be voted back into his constituency under the Ukip banner.
i hope murdoch has a heart attack
i hope murdoch has a heart attack
http://www.ismurdochdeadyet.co.uk/
I hate to say it, but if Murdoch wants to support UKIP, there's at least a 50% chance they'll be the majority next year.
http://www.ismurdochdeadyet.co.uk/
They'll be more parties when it does happen then when Margret Thatcher died.
The UK's political awareness basically extends to what the media tell us, and if 80% of people get all their info from the Sun, the Times, etc, they're going to vote UKIP if that's the agenda. [editline]6th September 2014[/editline] Automerge, sorry
So much for Ukip fighting the establishment and complaining over the nepotism of Westminster.
I bet they drank Romanian blood and spoke in the black speech of Mordor. Although actually given that it's called black speech I bet they stayed well away from it and blamed it for all problems ever.
I'm Romanian and I always hear a bunch of negative shit whenever UK politics are brought up, what's the deal?
Didn't you hear? The 30 million Romanians living in a country of 20 million are all a bunch of uneducated, unemployed, unintelligent slobs which not only speak foreign, but are also hell bent on invading and destroying the good ole way of life in Britain!
I'm Romanian and I always hear a bunch of negative shit whenever UK politics are brought up, what's the deal?
Scaremongering by UK media outlets such as the Daily Mail about Romanian immigrants coming over in droves and fucking up the country with their scary foreign magic. Essentially the tabloids needed a group to victimise for the week and the Romanians fit nicely. I remember seeing something where a reporter went to Romania and asked a load of locals if they or anyone they knew had any interest in emigrating to the UK and most couldn't have given less of a shit.

(This is ignored because it's not deception when we do it)
Not quite magic, but the media does like to paint them as quantum immigrants; being both job stealers and benefit scroungers at the same time.
Never heard of doing the double? Quite common where I'm from, even amongst the natives.
Fun fact: the actual question was the difference between a German family and a group of Romanian men. (This is ignored because it's not deception when we do it)
When was it ever ignored? Even if you remove the 'family' and 'men' segment, it still stays what it is - suggesting that there is a choice of either a male-dominated Romanian household, playing up to the stereotype, or a 'lovely hard working German FAMILY'. Even using those two, seperate, distinct terms is fucking racist because he was suggesting there is a clear difference between the two races. He purposefully billeted Romanians in a threatening manner.

"I heard you have a major grip on Australia's media and from what they read they hate immigrants too, so let's make AUSIP with you promoting it."
The interviewer used those terms, he was just replying to a question.
Oooh right right. My bad. Brain perp. Ok... where was I. Oh yes. 'You know the difference' wasn't a great reply though right am I right.
Fun fact: the actual question was the difference between a German family and a group of Romanian men. (This is ignored because it's not deception when we do it)
i'm having a hard time believing that he would have said the same thing about a group of German men when he's the one who was explicitly saying at the time that Romanians are more predisposed to human trafficking. i would see the relevance of the wording if what he said wasn't as clearly outlined [editline]6th September[/editline] i mean let's say they were just talking about the difference between groups of German and Romanian men. would that really affect anything he said about Romanians around that point? the main thing is that what he said was ignorant
Oooh right right. My bad. Brain perp. Ok... where was I. Oh yes. 'You know the difference' wasn't a great reply though right am I right.
Yeah, UKIP don't seem to have this whole "choose your words very carefully when dealing with a hostile media" thing down.
I love Nigel and UKIP
lol
B- b- b- but I thought the political elite and their friends in the media hated UKIP? It's funny because this is a political elitist (in that he is in politics, is rich, is private school educated, is white and old, basically the typical political elite) with a friend in the media (like, the biggest friend you could have in the media)

More than half of people get most of their news from BBC television output.
