Ok that scares me. They better not make the graphics fucking cartoony.

Stuff has always looked sort of cartoony at times, especially in Blood Money. Characters on that looked a little silly.
Yea, they better not fuck this up!
Next year? Awww.

In a way im glad, for one it allows them to give the game more polish for its release, and secondly im going to be poor enough as it is already this year.
Aslong as they have the whole "Here's you're objective, now work out 1 of the million ways you can achieve it" type of gameplay i dont think anyone will mind.
I hope it will be a bit harder to run and gun. Even on hardest difficulty it wasn't that hard to just shoot everyone.
Or make it so silent assassin actually rewards you with something.
If they go with a "borderlands" artstyle. I will kill myself.
The only thing that artstyle prooves is that the game devs are too fucking lazy to make it proper.

I thought that was really fun though, I had a ton of fun stealthily completing a level with no witnesses, then replaying and just running through headshotting everyone :v:

The teaser pretty clearly shows that they haven't done anything like that

The teaser is CGI, doesn't represent the ingame style at all. Just look at WoW's CGI.

Yes it was slightly overdone, but it wasn't really cartoony (more of a case of "realistic" style with a bit of overdoing certain shapes/colours). If it's like BM it's fine by me, just as long as it doesn't become like WoW or Borderlands (or even Brink).
"Proper info", no.
no.

That just doesn't make any sense, they wouldn't put a trailer out with that style and then go HURF CARTOON STYLE
As long as its better then their last project, Kane and Lynch 2 I cant wait for it.
Kane and lynch 2 was just...awful. One of the worse games I've played in years and I worship I/O
I hope there will be some really hard mode in this, where a lot of stuff happens like blood trails from moving bodies - which will make you want to break necks or strangle more.
There's so much I want this game to have - so I'm pleased to hear this:
“Never before seen”, “familiar but significantly different…

This is to be powered by a new engine, made by developers IO Interactive themselves, named Glacier 2. Ice cool! This means the game “has been built from the ground-up”
While I can agree that cel-ish type shading is often used to conceal bad texturing and suchlike, the use of it in Borderlands was anything but lazy. Every texture in Borderlands is hand drawn, there's no cel-shading except for the black outlines, the lighting does not hold any of the qualities that usually make for cel-shading. The distinct cartoonish look of Borderlands comes from the textures directly.
Slightly more on topic, I am rather excited for this, while I have only played Blood Money I did enjoy that immensely and can easily see myself playing this many times as long as they keep the open endedness of the ways you could kill your target. If it has a mission as fun as "A New Life" then it'll be worth the purchase just for that.
My god I'm pumped. That said, square enix probably don't have any say in what's in the games but just keep them as far away from my favourite franchise as possible just in case.

borderlands did exactly that
lol
I wonder if they're going to focus more on homemade and improvised weapons this time around.
Looking forward. Bloody Money was fun.
Really hoping for some new ways to silently kill. There were so many guns in Blood Money, but you were only allowed one shot per target if you wanted the silent assassin rating.
Fffffffffff Square Enix.
Let them ruin another one of my favourite PC Games.
Better not fuck this one up too, Square Enix
I was just talking with someone the other day about how there should really be a new hitman, those games are awesome.
