good thing i dont have a gaming computer, money, or friends to play with!
Betting it's horrible and generic
Still no reviews.
There's one, I'm sad to say the content though. But I personally love the fucking game so far.

reviews are thrashing the hell out of this game. Glad I didn't get on the hype train and buy it.

Thanks, saw the joystiq one shortly after I posted. Should have returned and fixed it.
Hahah, two stars. I figured there was some reason for the review embargo.
I completed this task -- and had unlocked Brink's entire, overwhelming armory -- within 45 minutes of booting up the game for the very first time.
sounds great
after reading the review i'm glad i didn't buy it.
Another poor review

Another, this one giving it a 7.9

Lol, jumping on the disappointing train. I thought everyone was excited about Brink?
Destructoid is giving it a 7.5.
I'd say it's getting more mixed reviews than bad.
It seems a lot of what these reviews are complaining about could be fixed with simple patching.
I'll withhold my judgment until the game's been out for a while.
Its broken in a technical sense. I'm assuming some patches will come along and we can start actually playing. At which point we can bitch about how bad the gameplay is. Right?
Good thing I saved my money.
Im enjoying playing it and it keeps me entertained.......fuck the reviews!
Ohwell. I'm glad I didn't pay 90 bucks to preorder this.
Fuck you north america and your release dates. :colbert:

Same here, I was going to buy it out on a whim since it looked so great but now I can't ( mainly because I have no money for it at the time. )
However, I will still probably check this out irregardless of what people have to say for it. In the end it only matters what you think of the product. Unless I can get some pure unbiased facts of the games critical flaws then I probably wouldn't get it.
Wasn't never really interested about Brink.
It didn't even have a Co-op, right?

I think it's supposed to have drop in/drop out co-op for the campaign.
Reviews are done too quick i think. Doesn't even give the game a chance.

If they only take 45 minutes to unlock everything, how much of a chance are you supposed to give it?

Unlocking things quickly gives you a better chance as a new player, taking too long to unlock stuff would put off new players.
Fucking NA

Back in January and February there was a lot of hype. But I've just seen that falling down and down harder and harder for each Brink newspost.
I personally never thought it looked very good.

Not really. The great think about Bad Company 2 was that it took a lot of time to get everything.
Personally I start getting bored of these kind of games when they stop having anything to unlock because then you just play for the sake of shooting some people and that only holds interest for a round or three and you don't really feel like coming back unless you have a bunch of friends that wants to play it.
Haven't played it yet (I live in Europe), but I have got it pre-ordered, so I'll just wait and see what the game is like.
From what I've seen, the only selling points of Brink seem to be the customization and that parkour-thing system and neither of them seem like they'd be enough to hold the game up and making it something other than a generic FPS.
