• No More Medal Of Honor If It Doesn’t Sell 3 Million Units
Electronic Arts has made it clear that the Upcoming Medal Of Honor would be the last title in the series if it didn’t reach its sales target of at least 3 million units. The original Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault was well received by FPS fans and scored a metacritic score of 91%. Consequent titles in the series disappointed fans and scored metacritic scores in the 75% range. Medal OF Honor is already the subject of controversy due to the fact that it allows players to play as Taliban soldiers in multiplayer. EA didn’t disclose the game’s budget but it seems to be huge, judging by the fact that they hired Linkin Park to soundtrack the game and arranged sound recording sessions at US military bases.
Source: http://www.megagames.com/news/no-more-medal-honor-if-it-doesn%E2%80%99t-sell-3-million-units (If you don't know MegaGames they've been around for fuckin' years) No one buy it, No one! Money Hungry Giants need to be starved from time to time to make them earn their money next time around
:colbert: I am not going to buy this.
The original Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault
What the flying fuck Are we just going to ignore the games that started the series on the PS1?
It would be sad to see a good series dropped because the couldn't sell enough games. They'll probably sell 3 million easily, it looks like it will appeal to both BC2 and MW2 fans.
:colbert: I am not going to buy this.
Good idea, I got the beta, for free, that is. It really lacks in shit to do. Just team deathmatch over and over again.
moh terrorist making americans subconsciously want to shoot americans if you buy it i will stab you through the heart with each of the poles of my fourteen american flags.
Okay, fine, I'll buy it then.
The very first Medal of Honor, the one for the PS1, was the best. Always. :911:
Yet another developer who see's just because a game doesn't sell incredibly well its automatically a bad game, you know i went through the whole "Activision hate, EA hate" phase but now i just decided they're both a bunch of shithead greedy assholes.
No one buy it, No one! Money Hungry Giants need to be starved from time to time to make them earn their money next time around
I'm sorry.. What?

That's not greed, that's common sense.

MoH's been dead for some time. :frown:
Where are our good old WW2 shooters now? Call of Duty went MW, Battlefield went MW and I doubt they'll make a WW2 game in a long long time if ever, and then MoH was dead for about 5 years untill they finally came back with a MW game.
Why do they do this?

These games were never that entertaining. Play them once through, and never touch them again.
Allied Assault was the first online game I played.
Don't buy it. Make EA drop the series. Make EA reconsider how to make good games and prevent it from murdering perfectly good franchises in the future.

I won't buy it anyways but this sounds like a plan
Good thing i'm buying it. Hater's gonna hate.
Why not, everyone already did that with the Unreal series
Reading that hurt more then it should've to me
Weren't gonna buy it anyway. Allied Assault was a great game but it's time they find something new to put their development money into.
I wasn't going to buy it anyway. MW2 and BC2 were enough, I don't need more run&gun that combines the two. Besides, I really HATE the weapon swaying. And it doesn't even feel like I'm shooting a weapon, it feels like a BB gun.
they hired Linkin Park to soundtrack the game
:gonk:

I'm not buying this, it's not like they'll ever make another Medal of Honor game as good as Allied Assault anyways.
I might get it, I wanna see the reviews first though.
