So who actually shot him?
I'm certain that information would be kept secret.
If you just killed the Extremist symbol of a generation, would you want the world knowing who you are? Would you be willing to live with the threat of personal retaliation?

You'd go down in the history books as the guy who shot bin laden, though.
You'd go down in the history books as the guy who shot bin laden, though.
Then you'd go down as the guy who got murdered faster then you could say: I was the one who killed Bin Laden.
As long as I was back in America I would gladly say I was the one who shot Osama.
All of his tweets are from around 16 hours ago.
Didn't Osama get killed days ago, and it was only announced yesterday after a confirmation it was him?

I would gladly put my family and friends into danger for life too.

Yeah I mean, it's not like terrorists don't exist in America still.

More importantly, I would assume SEALs aren't allowed to reveal that kind of shit. I know the SAS aren't even allowed to reveal they are in the SAS, it's probably largely the same.

Probably a mexican
im sure his name will be leaked by wikileaks sometime soon...
/joke
I don't think this really is a time to celebrate, he is dead but we can't bring back the 3000 + people he killed.
Anyways I reckon there will be a reprisal attack on the U.S but Al Qaeda are idiots.
What happened with that helicopter? Bodyguards shot at it and it landed or something? And then to prevent recycling of parts they blew it up? Or did i just not understand that part?
Only one thing can describe what I did when it broke in overnight.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. The helicopter sustained enough damage to warrant an emergency landing, like a fuel leak. Then they blew it up to prevent the enemy forces attaining it. Kinda silly really, blowing it up when it was probably repairable.
I thought the BBC knew better than to show pictures of a screen

Wow, If he was tweeting from a phone, he should had at least shot a video or snap some pictures.
Bitch is dead, carry on.

I could understand if they were operating in a hostile area (like say Afghanistan) but it doesn't really make sense as to why they would do it in a country that the US are pretty good allies with.
Perhaps its just more hassle to recover a helicopter than it is to blow it up.
