I'm 22 in a month and I pretty much don't care about my birthdays anymore, It's just a plus for me to get some money from relatives and get wasted with buddies - otherwise I just see it as any other day and I'm content with it

You don't care about your birthdays anymore because it has become commonplace for you to receive gifts and attention, since people actually care to [I]remember[/I] it. Try to put yourself in the shoes of someone that gets the other end of that extreme, where their birthday is regularly forgotten or even neglected. I don't mean to be derisive towards you, just reminding you to be grateful for the love you receive.

my point was that it [I]has [/I]become commonplace for me [I]not [/I]to receive gifts and attention, or anything in particular, because nobody has remembered my birthday in years - family, friends, etc. you can't be grateful for something you've not ever received lol
