President Donald Trump’s approval rating hit another low in Quinnipiac University’s poll, which found this week that 34 percent of voters approve of his job performance and 57 percent disapprove.
Trump’s previous low in the Quinnipiac survey was a 35 percent positive and 57 percent negative rating, registered on April 4

This is even before the Comey testimony.
All time low in the 538 average, too

We'll be seeing this headline about once a month until he's finally impeached.

right, cause hoping he gets impeached is all about us rooting for Pence to take the reins?
having the runner-up be worse is no excuse for not impeaching an awful president. if anything it'll finally prove that you CAN actually be shitty enough to be removed from office.
Trump's approval rating hits a new low every day. I guess it's still news everytime because it's a ~new~ low?

That's assuming Pence isn't implicated in the Russia Investigation though.

better him than a fucking clown
Tbh at least Pence is a familiar evil. A typical gross conservative politician.
Trump is a ticking time bomb that keeps letting off little explosives to alert you to the impending giant explosion.

Sure but you have to simultaneously internalise how dumb it is to impeach bad guy no.1 just to win a few 'hah told you so' points and get lumped with a guy that's arguably worse
tbh the worst thing is people unironically thinking he will get impeached.

Honestly, if Trump really is a russian stooge, it stands to reason all the people he surrounds himself with are as well.
Pence is the sort of person who wouldn't be completely obvious about it, unlike Trump, he's actually "smart" in the sense that he knows how to play the game of politics, making him far more insidious.
I really doubt Pence is implicated in any of this, he seems to be the type of old shithead who to this day unironically calls Russia 'the Soviet Union' or 'the Reds'. Ain't no way an old-hat, stuck-in-the-1970's conservative like him is collaborating with Putin.
But I'd take him over Trump any day of the week. He may arguably be a shittier person, but he does not appear to be anywhere near as unstable or dangerous to anyone. I highly doubt he would have withdrawn from the Paris agreement if he had the reigns, for example. He might have wanted to, but he wouldn't be so dumb and short-sighted to actually do it.

Pence was involved in the transition team that oversaw Flynn. He's fucked.

Really not sure how you can say Trump is better at this point.

"The VP is a shitbag" is not a good reason to keep someone who so flagrantly violates the law in office
Are these polls as accurate as all the ones that predicted Hillary winning in a land slide?

This isn't a joke. The current administration is a danger to my country. You can put words in my mouth, you can make assumptions about what I think, you can act like a condescending ass on an internet forum - it doesn't change reality one bit.

Oh good, let's get all the misinformed bullshit out of the way while we're here.
Are these polls as accurate as all the ones that predicted Hillary winning in a land slide?
Every time. Every single time. It never fails. Some right wing person comes in and talks about how wrong the polls were despite them not being at all and the people complaining about the polls never seem to understand how they work.
Are these polls as accurate as all the ones that predicted Hillary winning in a land slide?
The election polls ended up being off by something like 2-3 points. So even if what you're suggesting were true (and it's not) Trump would still only have a 38-41% approval rating. Not exactly something to be proud of.
Are these polls as accurate as all the ones that predicted Hillary winning in a land slide?
This is pretty much spam at this point. You and everybody else knows fully well that this trash implication has been debunked numerous times. Trump was given around a 25% chance of winning. That's the same chance as getting heads twice in a row in a coin toss: Turns out, it actually happens sometimes. The polls were accurate, the results came out within the margins of what was the predicted possibilities.
Remember before the election when people, even here on Facepunch, said that they would vote for Trump to 'shake things up', or 'because he's so incompetent that he'll do nothing' or 'because he's not corrupt like Hillary?'. Lmao.

I was sort of part of that crowd. I'm pretty happy that I couldn't be able to vote, and that I have learned my lesson. Would be nice if certain other people would do that too.
Are these polls as accurate as all the ones that predicted Hillary winning in a land slide?
There's no excuse any more for this kind of ignorance.
The polls were wrong by a completely normal sized polling error, and were actually more accurate than those in 2012 (which predicted a 1-2 point Obama win, the actual result was a 4 point win).
But I'm sure people have told you that many times before and you haven't paid attention then either. I suppose it's easier to believe the entire science of polling is wrong than admit that, just possibly, most people don't like having a dangerous, bigoted child for a President.
when's Trump's emotional and mental breakdown

You're clearly a troll.
You can't be anything other than a troll.
This level of intentional ignorance is trolling.

Yeah, until that is proven with actual evidence by the supreme court and decided on by the house, I won't take that as 'reality' since you're just a condescending ass on an internet forum

It really is amazing the lengths conservative people will go to believe that every champion of conservatism is incapable of doing wrong, and when implicated in said wrong doing, is somehow entirely unrelated to said events.
He literally fired Comey for "The russian thing", in his own words, so unless you're going to be the millionth person to tell us what the "Man who says it like it is" really fucking meant, develop a real argument. No, we don't know he's guilty yet, and trusting, as blindly as you appear to be doing, the systems of governance under said un-trustworthy leader as being incorruptible is beyond shortshighted.
But I'm sure you're totally right and a special prosecutor was required for a non issue of something that doesn't really exist and you have nothing to fear that your faith was misplaced.

Pence doesn't command nearly the same level of unquestioning support from large swathes of the country. If he were in office instead of Trump, his political survival would depend on capitulating to centrists and Democrats on issues like the Paris Accord or net neutrality, lest he get hammered by attack ads all the way to 2016. He would not be given nearly as much license to wreak havoc as Trump, nor would he be allowed to get away with any Trump-style bullshit.
And yes, Pence's anti-LGBT stance is completely appalling, but Donald Trump is a literal threat of the survival of our nation. At almost any cost, he needs to be removed from office.
Oh god, if they get rid of Pence too we're going to have President Paul Ryan.
Ryan allegedly knew about Trump and Russia before he was even confirmed as the Republican nominee. Key word: Allegedly.
He may be in deep enough that it could be enough to pull him from the line of succession. Which would leave the US with acting President Orrin Hatch. This, however, is a lot of speculation.
