I've been thinking about buying a bong online due to me not being able to get one in a head shop,(I'm 15) and I have a few questions.
I read some of the mega threads about the different ways to smoke, I'm not a big fan of joints so pipes/bongs would be a preferred choice for me.
First off I was wondering how safe it would be to buy a bong online? I live in Ontario, Canada; and I'm wondering how bait it is to buy one online, and if anyone has advice or experience with buying online. I'm using a prepaid credit card, if that helps at all.
Second I was wondering how I can tell if a bong is shitty or not. I was thinking about buying one of these:

It seems like some people are very knowledgeable on the topic and I just want some advice.
If you're going to spend 40$ on a bong it might as well be glass.
Don't buy an expensive acrylic one[spend like $20 max]. They aren't really worth it in the long run imo. Buy a decent glass one if you have to spend $40 on a bong. Other than I would tell you glass bubblers are nice alternatives to bongs. The choice is really up to you though.
Thing is, I'm gonna be hiding it in my bag and stuff, so I was thinking even if acrylic is a little worse quality; still might be a little better for my personal use.
This is a small one. It should fit in your bag nicely. The only thing is that you will have to empty it after every use to avoid spilling bong water in your bag, as you will with any bong.

Still a little shaky on the whole legality of buying online, and having it shipped through government mail or whatever, I guess I kind of sound like a pussy but I'd rather be safe then sorry.

Ridiculous shipping but aight.
Just use EDIT, I just ordered from them and got a shipping confirmation almost instantly. Expecting it to get here tomorrow or Friday, but it might take up to next week worst case scenario, which is fine because I paid hardly anything for shipping.
As for legalities, nobody is gonna care aside from possibly parents, and most if not all companies online use discreet shipping so you're good. Nobodies gonna go after you for that because even if they somehow find a way to prove that it was done at your computer with your card, it can't be proven it was you. Plus it isn't really completely illegal to have one when you're underage, but if there's no resin on it, it could just be a decoratve ornament.
Also, why doesn't it pay to get an expensive acryl one? I was thinking of getting one off the Killer line from EDIT if this order goes smoothly, but the ones I'm looking at I think are 30-40. Only reason I don't want glass is that i don't trust myself to get one and not break it

Its just a personal opinion. If you are going to shell out good money for bong, you might as well buy a nice glass one. I do see where you are coming from with not wanting to break it though.
Yeah, I've already knocked over my plastic one at least 10 times, thankfully it was empty.
I dropped the glass one I'm making now before I even got the bottles cut and attached to eachother, so it probably isn't a good idea.
I usually don't let the bong leave the table to avoid accidents. Better safe than sorry.

Unless you order something illegal you can't get busted. Even if the FBI or whatever shit you are afraid of goes knocking at your door, you can just deny it and they will have to assume your parents ordered it. Just don't order in your name and don't make it obvious you're a minor.
I normally do, but when it's stored, I don't have a bag for it, so I just put it out of sight of my sister.
