MOSCOW — President Donald Trump may have held more meetings with Vladimir Putin at the G-20 summit earlier this month, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Friday — but he shrugged off the importance of the encounters.
“They might have met even much more than just three times,” he told NBC News’ Keir Simmons in an exclusive interview, dismissing speculation about the leaders' meetings.
"Maybe they went to the toilet together," he joked.
Asked whether the two presidents had other conversations or met in the corridors of the G-20 meeting, Lavrov used the analogy of children mingling at a kindergarten.

This is what happens when you have a completely dishonest president who doesn't bring his own translator. Either these meetings did happen, or they didn't and Russia is trying to stir the shitpot. Either way, Trump is getting played. Hard.
You're dreaming if you think Russia didn't have everything planned out and ready to go to play the fuck out of Trump and get what they want.
russia is literally beating the US in its own game of espionage and influencing the politics of foreign nations lmao
it's like the sweetest form of revenge, karma, or however else you'd like to call it. no wonder a majority of russians support trump, it's because he's a complete and utter buffoon that only weakens the US. all russia has to do now is collectively sit back and laugh as it just gets worse and worse.
for many other countries, the US is finally getting a taste of its own medicine for all those years of abusing and manipulating elections half-way across the world in the name of self interest and real-politiking. the US has its election manipulated by a foreign power and suddenly people start throwing around words like "democracy" and "treason".

I don't get the point of this post. Is it just "haha stupid Americans"? Russian state capture had been going on for a long fucking time. The soviets did this just as much as the USA did. They used to play on the poor's sense of dissatisfaction with capitalism, but now they're playing on the poor's sense of dissatisfaction with other races in their country. They used to do it much more cruelly like in Hungary, Czechoslovakia, and Afghanistan. Today they just play on the latent racism of the poor in white-majority countries in order to try to dismantle the EU and NATO, or they simply invade other countries and pretend like its some kind of fucking humanitarian peace keeping mission like in Chechnya, Georgia, or Ukraine. The world has rarely seen this kind of aggression in the last 30 years. The last time one country invaded a sovereign nation, the United Nations resolved to invade Iraq and push them back out of Kuwait. Today, Russia invades Ukraine, and we simply rattle some sabers and let Putin gobble up Eastern Europe and rebuild the Soviet Union.
I don't really think it's something to poke fun at and gloat over. Vladimir Putin is probably the most dangerous man alive, and at least for now, the countries that used to be around to stand up to Russia are locked up with internal strife over their politicans who've been bought out by the Russians. Yes, haha, America is getting what's coming to them. Very funny that thousands of Ukranians, Estonians, Latvians, and increasingly those in Western to Central European countries like Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Germany, and even as far as England are falling victim to a second Iron Curtain and losing autonomy in their own countries.

The American people are not our government. The smugness of your reply is based on an assumption that those of who are outraged by this "treason," this assault on our "democracy," are now or ever were in support of US efforts to destabilize, hijack, or influence global politics through espionage.
"Ha ha serves you right," he says to the people who have nothing to do with the problems he's criticizing.

its fucking annoying that our politics has gotten to "do liberals hate it? then i shall do it!"
this is the spiteful, self destructive shit that pisses me off the most because this comes squarely from that corner of right wing media like brietbart, limbaugh and hannity, where they don't care that making the others into the ultimate evil is tearing this country apart

I'm sure the schadenfreude will be great comfort to the billions ground beneath Putin's heel.
it's nothing new, in some cases, the Russia and USA had common interest and threats ...
the question is if they deal with them swiftly because so far there is just tons of trash talk at all sides
