I don't even know why USA still bothers to try and form a relationship with them. Pakistan has been known to harbour terrorist, they are doing nothing about it, and they complain about drones killing terrorist. And Pakistan always protest how the Americans are endangering their lives. To make matters worse, when fucking terrorist blow up the Pakistani police and soldiers, no one in pakistan gives a fuck.
America runs off war. We find something we don't like? We attack it.
Terrorists blow up a building? Full fledged warfare.
We're trying to be form a healthy relationship with them because we don't want war.
FYI, America's not as bad as everybody thinks it is.

The terrorists who attacked us on 9/11 were protected and sponsored by the Taliban government in Afghanistan. They were also given a chance to turn over bin Laden before facing retaliation, to prove that they were not protecting him, but they did not turn him over. The US responded by attacking the government who harbored and protected our attackers. I disagree with a lot of things the Bush-era government did, but not on this issue.
That was far from "I don't like it, so I'm gonna attack it" mentality. That was "we we're attacked and now we're responding". Also, the invasion of Afghanistan was not so much full fledged warfare as it was more of an annihilation of the Taliban that took place within a few weeks. It's been installing a non-corrupt government (after we got rid of the corrupt one) and fighting insurgency since then.
If you want to talk about the Iraq War, that's another issue though. I'm referring to how you seem to be implying that if someone blows up a building we go to war. There wasn't any war when Timothy McVeigh blew up a building, because he wasn't being sponsored and protected by a foreign government. If he had been, then we would have simply retaliated against that government like we did with the Taliban.
