quick rate late
Honestly, I don't buy a damn game to become a "pro" and win money for playing it competitively, I buy the game TO HAVE FUN! This whole thing reminds me of MLG v. Halo 3.
i want to see some screenshots.
screenshots pls
quick rate late
I didn't put this up as I was waiting for some confirmation from Valve. I remember the last time I put a story up without confirmation you guys threw a hissy fit.
we still love you zips

For some wierd reason the box just shows an advert. Happens with every other thread in News Node too.

Competitive matches in Team Fortress 2 are played with TEAMWORK, it's not a 16vs16 deathmatch in your favourite pub server. We talk during gameplay, we make tactics, we stay togheter, we help each other. It's much more challenging and fun.

Holy company perks Batman, Robin's got 768 games!
i want to see some screenshots.
Wouldn't it look the same as Team Fortress 2?
Stupid competitive-fags ruining mah TF2.

Zips didn't give it an extreme analysis, Zips was getting the word out that there was a possible leak. News. Which is what he does. He tells everybody good things that may be coming our way, yet because he makes one little fucking mistake, people like you get super serious about it. So he tries to fix it so you don't get super serious, yet you apparently can't be content with Zips so get the hell out of the thread thank you very much.

How can it be competitive when playing as infected is just frustrating when hits don't register or you get blocked mid pounce by invisible walls or you lag to fuck whenever you get melee'd. Can't they at least include a cvar to disable breaks?
That's your opinion. Your opinion does not speak for every Team Fortress 2 player in the world.
it's a forum group jackass most of the conversation that goes on here is opinion based i certainly hope you incompetence does not speak for all of face punch
Competitive gaming in TF2? lol
To anyone who's complaining about competitive play ruining their TF2, keep in mind it's likely that there will be some kind of Cvar command to toggle a competitive mode for the server.
It'll be interesting to see what comes of this, I have my opinions on it, but i agree with Street_Wolf, chances are it'll be a Cvar command, like the one to start tournament mode. Although after reading the source post, I'd like to think the rumor of a fire-proof spy outfit would be false... Or it'd have to be balanced pretty damn good.

Why don't they make this open, there's so much threads about it already anyways onthe steam forum everyone know about it, might aswell make it public now.. Also, offtopic: When zips make a news without confirmation, he gets flamed, when he waits for confirmation, you rate him late, stop being idiots guys seriously.. Pick one d: I choose late, you can make news with no confirmation man :D ...but i rate u late

It leads to a more friendly environment and easier because everyone knows each other so everyone speaks
