To be fair, no one was excited for TCW either. It'll be something people integrate into, just like TCW.
So when will people start calling this a pile of shit because it isn't totally accurate to what they think star wars is.
God look at those wall textures what a joke.
The sith planet seems interesting, however seems limited in what he'll gain due to being a prequel to the 3rd episode.

First season was pretty much horrible. Later ones are decent though.

I agree but after listening to everyone shit on the new rebels series because the mandalorian in it isn't just another boba fett makes me think most people here have unrealistic expectations for anything star wars related.
If it isn't exactly like the extended universe books it must be shit!!!
why can't rebels look like this damn
Clone Wars isn't anything like the EU but people love it.
Clone wars was the shit. Im very excited for this
I can't seem to find it on netflix
i'm in the US
I also don't seem to have access to seasons beyond the first ones of many CN / adult swim show, shit pisses me off

I'm not gonna lie, anyone who swears by extended universe is retarded and shouldn't be able to talk about Star Wars critically.
There are some gems in the EU, that's true
but it's like wading through a fucking sewer and finding a mint copy of your favorite film or something.

There's more palpable stuff to be gained from EU than the movies. It's kind of funny though how the prequels helped EU actually expand to where it is today despite being horrible.
I might consider checking this out, as I wasn't exactly interested in TCW until now.
For anyone thinking about getting into TCW:
1. Don't follow that guide that's floating around that tells you to skip like 60% of the episodes, at least start them all. A good rule of thumb is that if the first 5 minutes involve nothing but Jar Jar and C3PO and shit, just skip to the end to keep up to tabs with the political situations but otherwise forget about the episode
2. First season is a little corny/cheesy/childish, but not to the extent where it's unwatchable. I would compare it to a really good kids movie. Good plot points and action sequences but the dialogue is hard to get through. Once you're through the first season, the show really finds its place and matures up a bit making the rest very enjoyable.
3. Enjoy
look at those fucking colors, goddamn. It's like a fantasy sci-fi mix. I love it.
I never liked the 3D Clone Wars show, but somehow this actually looks really interesting. It takes place after the TV series right? In another thread someone posted an image that was like a guide or something to all the good episodes of the series, I might watch those.
I am so HYYYYYYYYYPED

Let's see:
Four Angry Clones
Kyle and Friends, a hack n slash adventure starring Sith dinosaurs
Thrawn, the blue dude with art attitude
yeah. That's a huge list.
They're getting rid of the EU for a reason.

Don't trust that guide, just watch them all and just skip it if it seems too childish.

Also, 4 Angry Clones? Whats that mean? The only EU stuff I partake in are video games, and a handful of novels.
Only thing I hate is Moriband, because fuck Korriban! Regardless next friday is a friday I'm not sleeping.

[sp]They purposefully misspelled it, it's actually called Korriban in the Episode, but apparently they thought saying it was Moriband would confuse people enough to not see it coming.[/sp]
I have rarely watched a full episode of this show since I mainly preferred the 2D version.
However, I will binge watch it on Netflix.
Gonna be doing the same, I started watching the first series but just drifted away from it, so I'll give it a second chance once it's on Netflix.

Unrealistic expectations? How the hell is having a traditional Mandalorian an unrealistic expectation? How?
As great as this series got later on I still think 2003 series is better, hell I cringe whenever I see grievous because he got hit by so much villain decay it hurts.

I feel a bit better now, though I want the source on that.

But they pronounce it Moriband in the trailer. That is completely different from a miss-spelling

Maybe doing what they did to hide it? Like the season 5 finale they colored a lights abet green not blue.

What?

Look up the chronological order list and watch it by that. It makes more sense that way.

That has about 110 episodes out of 121 on it and was confirmed by the guide book by one of the people involved on the show.
